In the heart of western Jerusalem, the city of stone with its rich history and
where each building possesses its own intriguing story, stands a stone house 70 years old.
The Hess house occupies the ground floor of a three storey building at Moshe Hess street No.5.
There you will come to enjoy an apartment specially furnished and equipped to meet the needs of the tourist interested in and seeking the Jerusalem experience. Here you will enjoy and absorb the old time Jerusalem atmosphere.
The apartment is situated in proximity to the most important and beautiful sites which you can visit by simply
walking to them.
The house is situated in a small quiet street which has only six buildings on each side and leads directly
to King David Street. Immediately beyond the corner, the impressive Hebrew Union College stands out
and by its side Beth Shmouel. King David Hotel and at a distance of a 2 minutes walk from the apartment
you will come across the splendid Y.M.C.A. where from time to time you can hear the musical notes made
by its unusual Bell tower.
A few minutes later in your stroll you reach the Khan Theatre, the Jerusalem Cinematheque,
the Scottish Church, the Sha'nanim Quarter, Yemin Moshe, the Jerusalem Theater,
the restaurants area in the German Colony, the new promenade skirting the Jaffa Gate with its variety of
The Jaffa gate leads you to the old city and you see just as you pass through it the Tourist Information Center where you can find all sorts of pamphlets, directories, guides and maps that can assist in your further exploration.

Back to the Hess house you can walk to the Great Synagogue, The Temple of Solomon,
the Rehavia quarters, the Park of Independence, The Italian Synagogue in Nahalat Shiv'a and Jaffa Street which is crowded with shops and activity.
Ten minutes walk from there you are in Mahaneh Yehuda Market Place and the religious area
having as its center the Mea She'arim quarter.
As an alternative you can reach various regions by bus . A bus stop is situated near the Hess House
and you can pick a bus to any of the important destinations including the central Bus Station.
