Shabazi Studio offers a clean & comfortable home from home in one of the best neighborhoods of Jerusalem. Complete with semi-private garden, mini-kitchenette and wifi, Shabazi Studio is close to everything and a great option for visitors on a budget.
Our studio is our spare room, it shares our private garden complete with patio furniture. In Nachla'ot where buildings are usually towering in on each other, it is very rare to find a quiet corner with outdoor space to call your own; but at Shabazi Studio that's just what you'll get.
Our kitchenette contains plates, cups, cutlery, kettle, and a microwave and small toaster oven. The kitchenette is appropriate for heating food and preparing cold meals, rather than for cooking a full hot meal. It is our pleasure to keep the coffee and tea replenished, and a fresh carton of milk will await you in the mini-fridge.
The studio is typically set up with a double bed, but if two singles are preferred for any booking of 5 days or more, please just let me know ahead of time and I will be happy to accommodate this.
Our parking spot is off road on the premises, and we are happy to provide guests with this with an advanced request.Guests will have access to the garden area outside the studio room, the studio itself, and the parking spot if required ($7 per day). A returnable deposit will be required for the parking garage remote door opener,or "clicker", as we like to call it - but it is very easy to open the door manually!
I will personally meet the guests and welcome them to our studio. I live right next door, so am on hand for any questions or queries. As a licensed tour guide I will also be happy to offer advise to visitors in the city.
Nachla'ot is one of the trendiest and most character-filled neighborhoods in Jerusalem complete with bars, coffee shops, restaurants, stores, and just a short walk from the shuk (Machane Yehuda), downtown, and the central bus station. An additional pull of the neighborhood is its proximity to the huge park of Gan Sacher, as well as the neighborhoods of Rehavia, and the area of the government offices. Nothing is far away, and even the Old City is only a 20 minute walk, and Emek Refaim, 30 minutes on foot.
Everything is walkable, however for the days that you don't fancy walking there is the number 7 bus that goes from Bezalel Street which is less than a 2 minute walk from the studio. The no. 7 goes into downtown, towards the area of baka, and on to Ramat Rachel in one direction, and to the Israel Museum and Knesset in the other direction.
We provide tea and coffee, and make sure that there are towels and bedding in the studio. If you need a restock of tea, coffee, or towels, just let me know. We change the bedding once a week.TripAdvisor property ID 2742852...Read more
