New construction, large Studio, approximately 500 sf. Queen bed, dresser, double large closets, large full bath with tub/shower, safety grab bar, sitting area with couch and ottoman, dining area can seat 4, fully equipped kitchen with sink, coffee maker, gas range top, convection microwave, stacked washer/dryer, full sized refrigerator, 40" wall mount TV with ROKU, Netflix, Direct TV, WiFi. Private entrance with a private deck overlooking the water. Off street parking. Spectacular views of the Mendenhall Wetlands Refuge and the Mendenhall Glacier. Approximate 160 degree view, Eaglecrest Ski area one mile away. 8 miles (12 minutes) to downtown Juneau. Fully equipped kitchen, all linens included. Bicycles available, lots of places to ride or walk with little or no traffic. Trails are easy to strenuous.

Getting around

The airport is on the mainland and rental cars are available. The drive to our location is 15.7 miles or about 25 minutes away. Most of the restaurants are downtown, which is 8 miles from our location. If you are arriving by ferry on the Alaska Marine Highway, the terminal is 20.5 miles away. The City bus has a very good schedule for getting around the city and neighborhoods. But the bus comes to our area about 7:20 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. and connects to all other routes. If you have any questions about arrivals or departures, please contact us.

Please call or text us and advise what time you will be arriving. We will be available to give you the apartment keys, give you suggestions on things to do, places to go and how to get there. We live on the premises and are available to provide additional assistance as needed.
