Description

Cozy fully furnished 2 bedroom 1 bath condo just north of Kaanapali and across from a Beach Park. Nestled along the west Maui coast, this centrally located two bedroom one bath condo at Honokowai Palms is 35 yards to the Beach Park and 70 yards to the Pacific ocean.

We collect the $125 maid Fee and the Hawaii Hotel Taxes of 14.5% on the lower rent that I receive directly from you to save you money for it is only on the $ I receive and for your extra security.

The condo is on the first floor in a traditional Hawaiian setting of lush gardens. A partial fenced park like area right in front of our condo unit is great for young children. Reserved parking stall is less than 10 yards from front door.

Condo is fully furnished with large refrigerator, stove, microwave, 42" flat TV via cable, DVD, WiFi interconnections in our condo , small appliances, beach supplies to include beach chairs, beach mats, boogie boards, limited snorkeling equipment, beach toys, etc. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and is full size with a walk-in pantry with supplies including condiments, etc....

For cooling, when desired, we use ceiling fans in all rooms in addition to portable fans in the bedrooms and living room. Normally the trade winds and ocean breezes keep you comfortable as we are at the base of the mountain range, 70 yards to the ocean, on the bottom floor of our building and on the north end.

Master bedroom (Hawaiian theme) has a new queen size bed and second bedroom (Dolphin room) has new full size twin beds. Each bedroom has a 5 drawer bureau, sliding mirrored closet doors, and night stands. The floors are a dark brown plank and laminate. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably, maximum of 4 visitors.

Pool-side lounges and tables, a covered patio with tables and chairs, barbecue and picnic area, lush gardens in front and back of our condo.

Our Maui vacation home with all its amenities can be your home while in Maui. I, Kevin Carter, am the owner and manager.

Note: The $125 maid fee and the Hawaii Hotel Taxes of 14.5% of rent I receive is paid directly to us 30 or more days before occupancy. This process reduces your costs for it is only on the rent paid to me, it reduces the compounding of taxes and fees on the maid fee.

We average more than 10 repeat visitors a year who take up approximately 5 or more months of our available annual occupancy. Satisfied visitors who become REPEATS get a 15 %discount on future stays.

Association Rules
1. No loud noise after 10 PM and before 7:30 AM.
2. Wet suits, towels, mats,should be put on the clothes lines and not in front of the condo.
3. Vacation Rental Visitors have to park in their assigned stall: B5 .
4. Smoking is allowed in the barbecue area only in the complex or in front in the park,.
5. Only one vehicle per condo .
6. No sand in condo. First wash yourselves and supplies off at the beach showers. Use the hose behind the MB to wash off any remaining sand.

Response from the owner Therese we are sorry that your stay was so unpleasant for you. Please note that we have received 10 5 stars and 2 four stars from our 12 previous reviews. One of the 4 stars said: "Everything just as described." The condo buildings had been recently painted with a new trim color plus we had just replaced the couch in the living room with a new couch a month before, other than that all the pictures are from the inside the condo, the condo grounds, and the beach park in front of our condo. We have some notes to make it easier to find items like coffee, garbage bags, towels, sheets, lights, etc; to help operate the equipment; to warn people not to leave food out over night and to take the garbage out to prevent roaches seeking out food at night time. The visitors before Therese had not seen any live or dead roaches and the visitors after her saw only 2 dead roaches and no live roaches for the two weeks they were there. We believe she did not like our notes about putting garbage out at night and putting food away at night to prevent the "invasion" of roaches that she might have had. In the tropics, if you feed them they will come!. . Our TripAdvisor ad states clearly that the maid comes in after the visitor leaves to do the laundry and clean the condo and charges $80 for that service. We are not a hotel that provides daily maid service and we expect that visitors will clean up and pick up after themselves and we are priced accordingly.. The least expensive Kaanapali hotels are just 340 yards south of us, and they charge at least $200 to $300 or more a night for daily maid & hotel services for much smaller rooms and without all the extras we provide. I called multiple individuals who live at the condo and no one saw a mouse or heard about a mouse in the pool while she was there. Someone may have used the net at the pool to remove it and dispose of it.
