This exquisitely beautiful part of the island is often featured in television and movies, including "Lost", "Hawaii 5-0" and "Jurassic Park". Located just 45 minutes from Honolulu Airport, the Kualoa Hale's beauty, easy access and quiet seclusion, make it a preferred home base for families interested in the true Hawaiian experience.

How was as described and pictured. Right on the ocean. Was clean and spacious and fit our needs very well. Furniture and appliances are little out dated but for the price I did not expect much better. Internet did work but was as slow as dialup so we used our phones instead. If you want to be away form the business of Waikiki then this is good location. It is about a 40min drive to north shore and Waikiki so that was not to bad. Deck was nice to set out on and relax by the ocean.

Our one week stay in this beautiful home was absolutely amazing! Waking up to goreous sunrises and views of the mountains, kayaking/swimming to Chinaman's Hat and walks along the beach were the perfect vacation. The surroundings were serene and quiet. We saw several large sea turtles and enjoyed snorkeling in front of the house. The house had everything we needed and we will definitely be returning in the future!
“perfect for a small family reunion with a small child”

We met in Hawaii with my in-laws from Japan in that house. We stayed there for 9 nights and overall enjoyed it very much. The property is right on the shallow beach, perfect for a toddler to play- no big waves there. There was a beautiful view from the house's living room and from the outside sitting area you could see both the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. There is a Kualoa ranch within 15 min. walk there, the Polynesian cultural center was within about 45 min. drive north from the house and Waikiki about 45 min. south. It was rainy often there at that location in april, so we went to explore the rest of the island on the rainy days, often it was sunny in Waikiki. We highly recommend renting a car, if you plan to stay in that location. There were geckos in and out of the house. The bedrooms face the noisy road, my mother in law had to sleep in the living room on the couch, but the noise didn't seem to bother me personally. The house does not have a dishwasher, it has an outdoor charcoal BBQ, washer and dryer in the indoor bathroom. We had a great time together in this house and have good memories overall. The management responded to our requests fast and efficiently 99% of the time.

Loved the home, had more in it then we knew! Was quite convenient with just recieving the keypad code to get in. Great central location, house was clean and had air conditioning in the bedrooms which was nice. Woke up each morning to have breakfast in front of an amazing view! We were quite close to the road behind the house but didn't keep us up at all. My husband enjoyed taking the kids out on the canoe that was there even though they had to be short rides due to the leak!

My experience in Kualoa Hale was incredible. The preparations leading up to my visit was stellar. Communication between us and the manager was the best. The best part of my trip was staying at this house. The views are amazing with the comforts of home. There is plenty of space inside and out. The Lenai is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location was perfect for what I wanted. Far enough from the lights of Honolulu yet close enough to everything on the island that makes Hawaii-- Hawaii. I would recommend for everyone to check this place out and see in person the spectacular views and the perfect get a way place. I would go back--5 stars hands down.

We loved being able to walk right out the door to our own steps leading down to the water. While it was somewhat murky compared to a place like Lanikai, snorkeling was still lots of fun. Kualoa Ranch across the street was full of four-wheeled adventure too. House was well-stocked and very clean. The constant traffic noise from the highway, however, was hard to ignore:(
