The villa is situated in the village of Gökseki, 3km from the harbour town of Kas. The village itself boasts 2 shops.for basic supplies but there is a regular bus service into Kas which is well served with supermarkets, butchers, fishmongers and bakeries as well as a large selection of bars and restaurants

The upstairs of the villa is open plan with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs.

A large verandah leads off the lounge area wich offers a magnificent view of the Mediterranean and the outlying islands.

The village of Gokseki is a 10 minute drive from the charming little town of Kas. Kas itself is nestled at the foot of the Taurus mountalns and has a history that goes back more than three thousand years.There is an amphitheatre which is still used as well as greek temples and numerous Lycian sarcophigae found all round the town.
The Greek island of Meis is 2.5 kilometres away across the bay and a day trip to the island is possible.
The town has a good range of shops as well as bars,and restaurants which can cater for most budgets and tastes. The harbour is found at the foot of the town and is surrounded by tea gardens and restaurants On Fridays the local market is held at the top of the town where local produce is offered for sale as well as carpets, clothes and jewellery. The market is popular with locals and foriegners alike who come across from Meis to do their shopping.
A trip to Kekova by gullet (the local sailing boats) to see the sunken city which was destroyed by an eartquake some 1600 years ago is a must. The boats stop at beaches along the way to allow you to swim in the wonderfully clean water. You can also visit the old fort at Kalekoy which was built by the knights of St John.
Kas does not have any sandy beaches but a trip to Kaputas beach, which has the most wonderfully coloured water and is only a 25 minute drive away is recommended .Patara beach which is 18 kilometres long is only 45 minutes drive away is also recommended. This beach is littered with ruins which you are free to explore.
A visit to the Saklikent gorge is also worthwhile and if you are feeling energetic you can climb up the gorge for 15 kilometres.
The water is icey cold, coming from ice melt, and you can hire rubber tyres and float down the river.
Kas is renown for its diving and there are some 35 dive sites in the area. Instruction upto International standards (PADI etc) is also available.
For the more adventurous paragliding is also available from the mountains above Kas.
Kas is situated in the middle of the Lycian Way which was judged by the Sunday Times to be one of the 10 best walks in the world. The Way runs from Fethiye to Antalya and is over 500 kilometres long.
Many people who visit Kas just appreciate the views and the general tranquility of the place
