For the moderate walker there are many traditional and marked routes. Prime among these are the Kerry Way, some of the Republic's longest walkways with marked trails. Maps and accurate route descriptions are available locally. Organised guided walks operate on a regular basis.

watersports available. Daily cruises are available from Kenmare pier to explore
the wildlife and scenary surrounding Kenmare.
The area is a paradise for anglers with crystal clear rivers and lakes, deep sea
angling and shore fishing.

The Kenmare golf course is close by the town with the Ring of Kerry Golf
and Country Club a few miles away. Others include Killarney (32km),
Waterville (64km) and Ballybunion (74km). A pitch & putt and driving
