A beautiful 3 bedroomed semi - detached house on the outskirts of Kenmare town. Stylish and comfortably decorated, this welcoming Kerry house offers spacious accommodation, ideal for families or friends alike. The sitting room is bright, spacious with an open fire and a 42 inch plasma with satellite t.v, perfect for chillier evenings.The kitchen is well - equipped and has a dining area off it, ideal for long family suppers planning the following days activities. The 3 bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, are comfortable, and outside there is an enclosed landscaped garden area with mountain views. Kenmare and all its amenities is just a 10 minute walk along a lit footpath, and the area is full of things to see and do, including sandy beaches, golf courses, fabulous walks and much more. Kerry way walks are 100m from property with a swimming pool and spa 300m. Wi-Fi available.

The rooms are bright, spacious, comfortable and are full of natural sunlight. Sleeps 5. Downstairs is a large sitting room with a traditionally built open - log fire place. Basket of wood supplied. Oil central heating. A large kitchen/dining area with all modern conveniences. Double doors lead from the dining area into a patio area with a private enclosed landscaped garden. There is also a utility and downstairs toilet. Upstairs comprises of 3 bedrooms which have wooden floors throughout. 1 double room en-suite, 1 twin room and 1 single room. There is also a bathroom upstairs with overhead shower. Wooden floors/tiles through-out the house. Cot and highchair are available on request. A very generous welcome pack provided for all guests which includes bottle of wine, chocolates, cake, homemade brown bread, farm fresh eggs, 2 basket of wood, tea, coffee, sugar and all your basic household items. Wi-Fi is available.

Kerry Way walks on the door step. A 10 minute walk with street lighting will bring you to the centre of Kenmare town with its many restaurants, bars and gift shops. Farmers market day on a wednesday. Supermarket - 500m, Brooklane Hotel/Kenmare Bay Hotel with its good food and traditional music only 300m away. “2 Millfield, Kenmare”

Despite the weather we had a wonderful week at 2 Millfield, Kenmare. Gail the house owner could not have been more helpful. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The lovely town of Kenmare is just 5 minutes walk away from the house. Although we were out of season there was still plenty of shops and pubs and eateries to choose from locally as well as a couple of supermarkets. The landscape and views around the ring of Kerry and beyond are quite spectacular. A lovely ‘recharge the batteries’ week with log fires and no particular schedule. Plenty of walking and cycling practically on the doorstep. Thoroughly recommend the house to anyone visiting this part of the world and would definitely stay at 2 Millfield again. Gail offers as much or as little advice, recommendations and support as you might need, otherwise she leaves you to get on with it. Lovely welcome pack of goodies on arrival and good free WiFi.
