For 10 of us it was great to have plenty space within walking distance of the town centre. The family friendly pub just a hundred yards up the road was a bonus. It is also good to have parking for all the cars--parking in the Lake District is very expensive.
The prime reason for our choice was the size of the house which is located equal travel time for three branches of the family in Scotland and Wales.

very good views from bedroom window of trig hill.local walks, the property seems to have everything walkers need. We would return again in the future. But there's a couple of things I would like to point out, the pluming system needs sorting out, the boiler makes a lot of noises and the pipes do a lot of rattling, I would like to have had ensuite on the top floor. and also the peddle bin the kitchen needs renewing.

Went with husband, two children under 4, both sets of parents (mine and inlaws) plus brother in law and girlfriend. Great space for us all to get on with individual activities without stepping on each other. Loved the boot room for muddy foot wear and the spare room for excess bags etc. The living area was large and very ample for our needs with a well equipped kitchen and lovely dining and living room with plenty of comfy chairs!

Good Service with payment and info.
House good for big party, lots ot toilets apart from none on second floor.
Bit far out of twon on busy road but we used shortcut via park.
Good tidy clean house, everything you need for walking. We paid £10 for a cot but we were not told it was a travel cot, i would of taken my own if i had known.
Minimum stay and check-in day vary by time of the year.
