We stayed at Paradise Found for two weeks with two grandchildren – 4 and 5 and a half and were very pleased with everything. Traveling with small children is special and my comment is certainly specific to this experience.
First, is the idea to stay at a condo vs. a resort. Small children do require at least some home cooking. If you have two of them or more it is nice to have an extra bedroom for them.
Second, is the location. The shallow ancient Fish Pond right in front of the building proved to be excellent in terms of safety. The water does not have any seaweeds or smell, but waves do make it a little murky sometime. I guess it is unavoidable in a shallow place. The very next beach to the north (walking distance) is slightly deeper and the water is clearer.
Third, the pool is very nice and our children truly enjoyed it.
Forth, - most important. The condo is very clean, nice and has everything one may need, including beach chairs and some beach toys. The owner – Mike McKinley and the property managers are very nice and kind.
Fifth, - the attractions. I would skip the Ocean Center unless you have a rainy day or your children do not have any good aquarium visiting experience. It is small and quite boring. I would also skip the submarine and Reef Dancer. For small children it is no different than an aquarium but with much less species.
Sixth – snorkeling. Having two of them and despite their good swimming skills I felt more comfortable staying on the ground. Fortunately, there is a very shallow Baby Beach with many colorful fish species and where my grandchildren could snorkel and stay on the ground when needed. Seeing turtles was another challenge....
