Idyllic location

Left on Sep 05, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We found the cabin very well kitted-out, with all of the usual amenities.

It has a great view, overlooking the coast and across to Mull. We saw Dolphins, Seals, Otters and many bird-species from the cabin windows.

We also found it very handy for visiting Mull, on foot and by car, via the Kilchoan ferry.

The Kilchoan Hotel is within easy walking distance and the food was great.

Place could do with being cleaned better, my wife spent an hour cleaning windows and dusting. Also scrubbed the kitchen. Could do with a bit of a spruce up but overall a great base. Garden could do with a path to front door so you don't drag half the the lawn in with you! Electricity a little expensive!!

We really liked the house and Jacqui and John were fantastic.
We found using the electricity meter a bit confusing, it would have been handy if someone else had taken the initial measurement. It was pouring with rain when we arrived and we were too tired to wander about the outside of the house looking for the meter in the rain.
But that is our only complaint really. Jacqui and John helped us …
