Cottage Profile Lovely four bedroom, 1900 square foot cottage with the unique combination of both private setting and close proximity to the beautiful sand of Bruce Beach on Lake Huron. Enjoy the large yard and private shelter that the well-treed lot provides, while also enjoying swimming in Bruce Beach just 500 ft from the cottage door. Three living levels means that there is plenty of space for all eight in the party. The main living area of the cottage is complimented by cathedral ceilings and tongue-and-groove cedar walls creating a real 'cottage' feel (please see note below) . Enjoy the cable television or DVD player. The woodstove helps to take the chill off a cool spring or fall evening. Off the main living area is a set of patio doors providing access out to the large deck. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher this means you certainly won't have to rough it. There is plenty of counter and cupboard space for storage during your stay. The dining area is a unique feature of the cottage with large windows on three walls, providing a view of the great outdoors to compliment your holiday meals. The table seats all eight people in the party comfortably. The lower level of the cottage provides a sitting room with couch and two arm chairs, a great place to relax and enjoy a good book. Also on this lower level of the cottage is a bedroom (please see note below on bed sizes) . Three of the four bedrooms at the cottage are located on the second storey of the cottage, each of them featuring cathedral ceilings. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and a floor to ceiling window that allows natural light to filter the room. Another bedroom also has plenty of windows for natural light, and a queen bed. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds (please see note below on bed sizes). The one bathroom at the cottage is located on the main living level, and is a four piece with a tub/shower. Outside there is a large, private lot so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. In such a popular tourist area, this privacy is a real luxury and guests can make the most of it by sunbathing on the large deck complete with a picnic table and two loungers. Six Muskoka chairs are also available for you to relax in, while you can make use of the propane BBQ to cook up the perfect feast! A path right off the front deck of the cottage leads to the sandy shores of Bruce Beach. This path is about 500 ft long, which is about a 3 minute walk from the cottage to the beach. Bruce Beach has beautiful sandy shores about 2 miles long and vehicles are not permitted on the beach. Also just a short walk away from the cottage you'll find tennis courts, a basketball court, as well as a playground with gym apparatus for the kids in your party. This is a great place for the family to enjoy the outdoors when they aren't in the water! Great cottage for family and friends. The cottage had everything we needed and was located in a wonderful private setting. Although it was not right on the beach, it had access to wonderful running and cycling trails, a baseball park, tennis courts and childrens playgrounds. We had access to the beach through a path that was not too far away. Only request would be to have access to washer and dryer for wet towels.
“quarter mile from beach, woody so lots of bug spray needed...”

Very nice for a cottage, but very hot upstairs...Bugs galore at night could not enjoy deck at all. Clean and fairly close to beach at least a safe walk with not a lot of cars to worry about with kids. Thought it was a bit spendy since it wasn't right on the beach...
