“A little piece of paradise!” We were fortunate to spend the month of May at Villa Klio in Sfinari, Crete. We arrived at the airport in Chania and were met by the car rental agent and a car that had been arranged by George or Kostas. We drove to Sfinari over the beautiful mountain roads admiring the spectacular scenery and avoiding goats on the road. We arrived at the villa to find the refrigerator stocked with Moussaka, salad, wine and bread as well as juice and water!! There was a beautiful bouquet of roses making the villa smell wonderful. What an amazing surprise and delicious meal. We found the villa to be very comfortable, a housekeeper came twice a week. The village of Sfinari is charming and has two small "supermarkets" and several restaurants. We loved walking to the beach and eating at the restaurants there and watching the sunset over the sea. We drove the 20 minute drive to Kissamos for larger stores with more variety. Western Crete has amazing beaches and water warm enough to bathe in even in May! We loved Falassarna Beach, just a short drive from the villa. Elafonisi beach is another spectacular beach with pink sand and shallow water. There is so much to do and see on the island of Crete, we highly recommend it as a vacation destination and recommend Villa Klio as very nice accommodation.

“Lovely location very quite and peaceful” The accommodation is very good. If you are looking for somewhere to stay which is very quiet and private this is ideal. The swimming pool and villa are well kept to a high standard and very clean. Hiring a car is essential and the local supermarket which has a greater selection is about 20 minutes drive to Kissamos.

Villa Elvina Beachfront Stand-Alone PrivatePool Open Spaces Best Family Vacation
The perfect place to relax!

We stayed at Villa Elvina for a week at the end of July this year. The owners, Eleftheria and her husband Michalis, were very helpful and did their best to make our vacation unforgettable. Spacious and recently refurnished to a high standard, the villa is located on the tranquil beach of Drapanias with stunning sea views. The 80m2 pool was gorgeous and clean. The cleaner, Georgia, was very gentle and helpful.The location, detached and quiet, was the perfect place for us to relax in an unspoiled enviroment. Traditional restaurants and cafes along the beach, were just a few minutes walk from the villa. In the town of Kastelli, only 3,5 km from the villa, there are super markets, groceries, bakeries, pharmacies, banks and a health center. An excursion to the famous beaches of Balos, Falasarna and Elafonisi are must visit too. All in all, highly reccommended. … see more
Villa Corallium with breathtaking sea views & pool
Great Stay

Very much enjoyed the villa, Sfinari, and the Western coast of Crete. Villa was delightful, as advertised. Owner was most gracious and helpful, and George, the agent, was similarly extremely responsive in arranging the booking, answering questions prior to the trip, etc. Having the three restaurants five or six minutes by the local beach was great, but we also enjoyed visits to restaurants further away. Our favorite beach was Balos, which we hiked to early in the morning, but Elafonissi was lovely before the buses arrived, and Falassarna was very enjoyable as well. We enjoyed an afternoon/evening trio to the old port in Chania. Had our twenty one year old daughter and seventeen year old son with us and they had a great time as well. Fully recommend Villa Corraliium and look forward to returning in the future. … see more

A gem in the middle of Mediterranean

We stayed at villa Klio for a week with our three kids and we loved it. The villa offered comfort, romance, fun for the kids, a great view of the sea, as well as a very convenient location for exploring the western side of Crete. Villa Antonia with private swimming pool
A perfect place to relax!

We spent two relaxing weeks in August in Villa Antonia. We appreciated the warm welcome (wine, a delicious Moussaka, fruits, vegetables, juice, feta ... even flowers on the table) and felt easily at home. The house is fully equipped (incl. sharp knives for cooking), the whole property is well kept and clean. Our 8-year-old daughter loved the pool, she spent hours in it ... We also liked the privacy of Villa Antonia. The photos don't promise too much, it is a lovely place! And George from the agency, as well as Vassili, the owner, are very kind and helpful - thank you, guys! Within max. 60 min drive, you can reach some beautiful beaches. Balos is a must (go there by car, the view is spectacular!), Elafonisi is very beautiful, too. Both are perfect for children. Falasarna is the closest sand beach, but it can be quite windy and wavy from time to time. We used to go to the beaches in the morning until the early afternoon; like this you can easily get chairs and it is not too crowded despite high season. If you need any tips where to go or what to do, have a look at the agency's website, they provide some helpful information. We enjoyed the mix of beaches, pool and good restaurants (especially Sunset Beach Restaurant in Sfinari, Gramvousa Restaurant on the way to Balos and the Fish Taverna on the left at the sports harbour in Kissamos). So if you look for a beautiful place away from mass tourism, if you are not keen on sightseeing and shopping, if you don't mind curvy mountain roads and to wake up in the morning by sheep, cocks, dogs and cicadas, we can strongly recommend Villa Antonia for a relaxing and sunny summer holiday! … see more
