At Villa Samprasada, your every need has been considered. If you play golf, grab your clubs and play golf at the Bophut Hills Golf Course, just two minutes away. Or play the well known Santiburi Golf Course, just 20 minutes away.
The villa is only 4/5 minutes drive from famed "Fisherman's Village" in Bophut, with it's great shopping and first class seaside restaurants and nighttime walking street. Or head to the Friday night street Fair in the village and check out local arts and crafts.
And for major nightlife, you are only 15/20 minutes drive from Chaweng Beach with it's nightlife that goes on until sunrise. Check out the Green Mango walking Street, Sound Bar, Solo Bar, or Raggae Pub.
In 30 minutes you can be at Lamai Beach, with more bars and nighttime attractions, including Thai boxing.
If you want to go to the beach, you can be at Bophut Beach in 4 to 5 minutes, get a massage on the beach, rent jet skis; or you can be at Bang Rak Beach in less than 10 minutes, and Chaweng Beach in 15/20 minutes. Sit at Ark Bar at sunrise and watch humanity pass you by on the beach. Or explore the island and discover hidden beaches throughout. Or drive to Nikki Beach for their fantastic Sunday brunch.
If you stay at the villa, by day you can sunbathe in privacy, and at night, the villa turns into a lighted fantasy (which is why we charge 8 Baht a unit for electricity---as you'll never want to turn the magical lights off---(we don't).
We recommend you rent a car, and the island is easy to navigate, with one main "ring road" circling the island that can be circled in just over an hour.
And massages are so reasonably priced (200 to 350 Baht) that we recommend getting massages daily while you are on the island. Drive to Fisherman's Village, have a great meal, and sit down and get a massage after dinner!
Or go to one of the many recently opened beach bars on Bophut Beach and sip a drink as your feet caress the sand and water laps at your feet. And Bophut Beach is family friendly and bar girl free!
You are guaranteed a unique holiday experience when you stay here.
As owners, we are committed to you having a fantastic stay and will send you a full owners guide with our favorite island recommendations for exploring and eating.

What a wonderful way to arrive at Rob's; chauffeur driven by Oh, his villa manager, and your font of all knowledge for Koh Samui should you need it!
The drive to Rob's is a short distance from the airport. As you ascend the hill upon which Rob's villa is perched, you feel the sense of leaving the hustle and bustle behind, passing on your way a water buffalo in the tamed jungle (at this level) and an immaculately maintained golf course. If you are lucky you may even see a few elephants as we have!
Perched on the hill is Rob's villa Samprasada. You are greeted with orange garlands of marigolds draped over the compound gate. Inside, the villa is beautifully and immaculately presented. Our family of five fell in love with the architecture, the lush and well-planted gardens, the antique and Thai mixed furniture and statues, and the most glorious outdoor tropical showers and baths.
The subtlety of design and sublime use of lighting and sound makes you feel as if you really have entered into paradise. Words cannot do justice to the pool placed at the centre of the villa; fragile red and blue dragonflies do the mating dance as they follow you up and down the pool. From the main bedroom one opens the sliding door and slips effortlessly into the heavenly water.
One could easily stay up here, away from it all, but if you need to venture out the upmarket Fisherman's Village with the most delectable cuisine is only a 5 minute drive away. We live in London but yet have found the best Indian food tucked away in Fisherman's village!
Rob, a most charismatic and attentive owner of this luxury property, has detailed information available for all his guests which cover the wide range of activities and attractions available in the area.
Of course, beaches with azure blue crystal clear waters are only minutes away from the villa. We have returned to Samprasada a few times now and would highly recommend this property to anyone who seeks tropical luxury and total relaxation.

My wife and I recently returned from an absolutely fantastic vacation in Koh Samui. What made this trip just perfect for us wasn't the island itself so much, but rather our decision to rent the house, Villa Samprasada. Everything is very well maintained: the pool immaculate, all those fantastic lights for creating mood in the evening functioned wonderfully, speaker zones throughout the villa to create just the right musical mood, charming landscaping, screaming fast wireless Internet, big flat screen Tv's, a kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. It's quite obvious the owner cares a lot about the place and that he himself visits on a regular basis. Renting the house was extremely easy, from the initial contact with Rob the owner, to being picked up at the airport by the smiling face of 'Oh', the young woman who manages the villa.Upon arrival there was tons of fresh fruit laid out, bottled water stocked up, really all you have to do is buy some food and start living like a local. The house sits up on a hill which overlooks the ocean. We drove into town most days, sometimes walked the beach, shopped for fresh seafood and fruits at the market, and would eagerly return to the villa to relax and look forward to an evening of fresh drinks, steamed clams and grilled fish in the comfort and privacy of our own home. Even though the view of the ocean is there as you drive down the hill for supplies, the house itself does not have a view of the ocean; probably it's only down side. But, realistically, if it did have a view of the sea, the price would be three times as high and I certainly could not have afforded it. During the day, you open up all the sliding glass doors and the whole villa flows from inside to out, calling you to the pool for a swim or a lounge. The second bedroom is just as lovely as the master, but truthfully, I'd be hesitant to share the place with anyone else.Villa Samprasada is a very romantic spot.

Thank you for that great review. We do take great pride in the villa and want all our renters to have a fantastic experience. We're glad you did. Thank you.

From the moment we walked into the house, we new we had found a perfect house to stay in. The beauty and tranquility catches your breath first, then as you explore the house and gardens you feel the luxury permeating every corner. The attention to detail that has gone into providing everything one could possibly need is touching. The two separate living areas are great in design and privacy. The furniture and linen sublime. A fully decked out kitchen makes it so much fun.The pool is the heart of the house and is perfectly kept at the right temperate and with no sign or smell of chemicals. We couldn't stop staring at it and leaping in at every chance. Well done on the gardens. Stunning statues and plants.
We don't see the need for resorts again after this.
Thank you Rob for your ease in dealing with bookings and information and a great thanks to "Oh" the House manager who speaks English perfectly and had the house perfectly serviced throughout our stay.

This place is fantastic! Every convenience you can imagine! Excellent staff and service. Take the landlords advice and rent a car from his manager, Khun Oh. The shopping centers are minutes away and all of the best beaches and beach clubs. The place is immaculate clean. The dinning sala outside of the living room is where we spent most of our time other than the pool. The living room is very comfortable and with the huge stock of Dvd's, a great movie was always just a few clicks away. Also if you like to cook, this will be your perfect home away from home. Amazing open kitchen with every appliance you would ever dream off!

Fabulous, idalic mountain retreat in Bohut, Ko Samui. This is an awesome property with a spectacular view of the mountains and a small piece of the ocean. The courtyard-style compound is well appointed - master house, one-bedroom "guest" house, Kitchen/den house surrounding a pool with the perfect outdoor "morning coffee/afternoon cocktail" covered area. The atmosphere is almost surreal - you do feel you are living the live of the rich and famous -- we just hung out there one complete day because it was so relaxing and inspiring! The artwork on the grounds alone is magnificant, the landscaping and lighting spectacular. The outdoor shower and spa/tub was really fun. The trek up the hill to get there requires a guide the first trip up. The local restaurants are very good, all the people friendly.

Villa Samprasada was my dream house, and it was a true highlight of my first trip to Thailand. Such a glorious, glamorous, serene, and comfortable place to live. All the luxuries and necessities you could possibly want or need are there. As far as the intangibles go, the house has a spirit that is both joyous and peaceful. The only "problem" was that while I wanted to explore the village and go to the beach with the friends I was traveling with, I was torn...because I also wanted to just stay at the Villa and soak in the beautiful pool, read, take naps, and pamper myself. It was so hard to leave the Villa, even though we had more wonderful places to see in Thailand.
Basically, I think that Villa Samprasada could be a Koh Samui tourist attraction in and of itself!
All rates inclusive of 3x weekly maid service. Plus 7% Vat. We charge 8 Baht a unit for electricity (as the villa looks so great lit up at night that no one seems to ever want to turn off the lights). Typical electrical charge is $15 to $30 a day, depending on how many airconditioners and lights you keep on! But you can flat this out for $20 a day, which mosts guest prefer. We always recommend a rental car, and "Oh," the wonderful woman who manages the villa can rent you one of her cars, or rent from Hertz, Avis or Budget. We charge a 50% non refundable deposit upon booking and the final 50% due one month prior to your rental (two months for holiday season). We always recommend trip cancellation insurance. A $500 to $1000 security deposit (depending on length of stay) will also be charged to your credit card three days prior to arrival and your electrical charge will be taken from this (to date---no one has ever done more damage than break a few wine glasses), although in most cases we will waive this as it's just a pain in the arse and everyone takes good care of the villa. Holiday (XMAS New Year Rates have minimums of up to ten days--at least ten minimum if your holiday rental covers both Xmas and New years or within one day of New Years. Note that while FlipKey puts an automatic pay option in your rental request automatically, we do not accept this and will bill you directly.
Additional fees may apply:
- Flat Rate Option for Electricity (instead of just 8 baht a unit which would average between $15 and $30 a day) | 20 USD per day flatted.
/ night + / night + additional fees additional fees
