We had an amazing stay at Villa Sasa! The villa was everything we expected and more. The location of the villa was to our liking: it was of walking distance to the beach but not right next to it, which we thought was a good thing. Being located a bit further away from the beach made the villa very private, which we enjoyed very much. The villa is located next to Bang Rak where there are nice restaurants and bars. If you want a bit more action, the Fisherman's Village is very close too, which has more restaurants and shopping possibilities.
You can't really talk about the villa without mentioning the private pool: we loved it and it was used often. It was truly an experience to have a night swim under the starry sky! The premises and the pool were well kept clean. The daily maid service enabled us to enjoy the holiday even more since we didn't have to do any household chores at all. We especially liked the Thai breakfast the maid cooked for us. The villa felt very secure because there was a guard outside the gate during the night.
Samui as an island is extremely beautiful and an excellent place to spend your holiday, but obviously it is a very popular tourist destination, so you have to make a bit more effort to find quite places. Luckily, if you choose Villa Sasa, your privacy is guaranteed and you can always return to the tranquility of your private villa. We hope to visit the villa and the charming Samui island once again in the future.

I stayed at the Villa Sasa with my husband and baby daughter in July. We were there for 10 fabulous days. The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from the lovely Bang Rak beach. The beach is especially pretty at sunset and has many cool restaurants and clubs (don't miss out on Sunday evening at the Secret Garden) where you can just have a drink and enjoy the view. We could get by taxi to many other tourist attractions on the islands, like Fisherman's Village, the Big Buddha, and Chawend. The Friday night open air market at Fisherman's Village is a must. Don't forget to go on the floating wharf. We also liked just touring the local markets and sample authentic local food. The Bophut market was a lot of fun. But really I could have spent all 10 days just staying at the Villa. The rooms are super comfortable and very stylish (air-conditioning works great). The place has a central yard with a large swimming pool that my daughter just loved. The yard has a sort of outdoor patio with ceiling fans that was very nice to relax in. I also think that it is a big plus that the Villa Sasa is located very close, but not directly on the beach. The popular beaches in Chweng are full of villas and hotels and tend to be very crowded, especially in Chaweng. We spend an afternoon on the beach at Chaweng and there was a lot of commotion there, with the water ski jets and vendors. The Bank Rak beach is more family-friendly and the Villa Sasa enjoys privacy enough that you can get some quite when you want it. The owner, Sasa is very nice. She plays traditional Thai music ans we were lucky enough to hear her play on several occasions. We will definitely return to Villa Sasa on our next trip to Samui!
