For our Villa guests we offer comfortable, quiet and aesthetically pleasing accommodation near the historical center of Krakow in a short distance to the airport as well as the main bus and railway stations. Here you can truly enjoy your stay in Krakow either as a base for your busy sightseeing schedule or just relaxing in the garden and enjoying the excellent meals you can have prepared with skill by the owner of the Villa.
The Villa is located in the foothills of the beautiful Jurassic Scenic Park, just in the outskirts of Krakow, with a spectacular panoramic view over the Vistula River meandering from the Monasteries of Tyniec, Salvator and Bielany toward the Royal Castle of Wawel. On clear days you would see the tops of the Tatra Mountains some 100 km away.
This particular location makes a perfect base for visiting some of the most historically and naturally interesting places in Krakow and the neighboring regions.
The property is very well maintained equipped with all modern facilities, nested in a beautiful garden and built with excellent architectural detail both outside and inside of the building featuring sandstone and oak floors, sophisticated wood finishes, full of light on pastel painted walls.
The Villa is located peacefully away from main traffic in a safe semi-rural neighborhood.
In the ground floor level we rent (Unit 1) an individual private Suite consisting of a large room with a bathroom and a kitchenette. There is generous space for a couple, but also an option of an additional bed for a child or two.
The second floor has its private entry and consists of a Master Bedroom (Unit 2) with a large bathroom and another separate Bedroom/Bathroom accommodation (Unit 3).
All three Units are tastefully furnished and equipped with all modern conveniences you might need during your stay.
Moreover, on the first floor of the Villa, there is a beautiful living/dining area with a fireplace a country kitchen and an adjoining view terrace. You can start your day here with an Italian espresso and a tasty breakfast or maybe also enjoy a lunch or a dinner during the day you might want to have it ordered. These facilities shall stay open for your enjoyment during the stay in the Villa.
Adjoining to the Villa, there is a parking space in the court yard and/or a possibility of using the double space enclosed garage.
Where to go from here?
We can help with your trip planning, guidance and any practical advice you might need when in Krakow.
Upon request we provide transportation from and to the Balice Airport or the bus/railway station. Otherwise, there are many round the clock taxi services available; just to give an example a taxi from the Villa to the Main Market Square of Krakow costs approx.4 Euro (5 Dollars) and it takes 10 minutes to get there.

The place was everything we could have hoped for. Located in a peaceful part
of the city yet very close to Krakow's main market and other attractions. We
came to Poland by car and the villa was easy to access-5 minutes off the high
way. We would leave the car at the property and get to the center (maybe 5
minutes drive) usually by taxi (paying literally 3-4 euro), or the owner would
give us a ride (we took a bus maybe one or two times)..
The fact that we had the car was very convenient- we got to see not only the
main attractions but also were able to travel outside of Krakow (ojcow national
park, salt mine etc). We had a wonderful time in Krakow and in the villa!

The house and gardens were beautiful! The host was very warm and welcoming and always approachable and ready to answer any questions we might have. It was wonderful to have a nice, clean, quiet place to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing.

Wow! What a great unit ~ totally self sufficient, clean and upscale. Everything
was provided and if anything was amiss the owner took care of it immediately.
We came during a warm spell and the garden was a joy to relax in with a
bottle of wine and some hors d'oeuvres. The hostess was welcoming, friendly
and knew how to make her guests feel right at home.
Access to the unit was comfortable, right off the main floor. Security was
never an issue because the home is in an upscale neighborhood so we felt very
safe and loved taking walks in the area. There are several restaurants within
walking distance that have friendly staff and good food.
Traveling to the different tourist attractions was also very simple since the
home is centrally located and nothing is very far.
Thank you, Beata and family, for your hospitality...we will certainly return.

Our stay was fabulous and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone
visiting Krakow, whether a first time visitor or familiar with the country. The
apartment and it's furnishings (along with the entire home) are upscale and
high-end. The owner is fluent in English and was welcoming in every aspect
of our visit; very knowledgeable in Krakow's history and happenings and was
very willing to show us around as well as inform us to the most interesting
places to visit.
The neighborhood is quiet and serene yet within walking distance to
restaurants and grocery stores with Old Town just a short distance away.
Loved the entire experience and will definitely stay there again when my
travels take me back to Poland.

Charming and luxurious villa with spectacular view on the Vistula River. Spacious suite with cozy and state-of- the-art kitchenette and bathroom, marble-top counters.A foyer furnished to create the ambiance of the Old World: stylish, private, cozy, inviting, impeccably clean.
My favourite: patio with a perfect morning shade for home-made breakfast on Italian-marble table with a view of the rose garden overflowing the backdrop slope. Perfect start and finish of a day in Krakow away from the bustling city streets
Personable, creative and highly accomodating English-speaking hosts. I would return any day to the Villa Under the Bat for the most memorable experience.

Stunning, independent apartment!! The place is fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. Nice and quiet location, just 10 min drive from the Main market. The beautiful rose garden was a perfect place to relax after a day in the city. The owner came to pick us up from the airport and was a great help throughout the stay.
I would be more than happy to stay there again and would recommend Villa under the bat to anyone going to Krakow. Thank you!
