“Beautiful location, perfect cottage, true relaxation - bliss!” The cottage was first class, cosy and suited our needs completely. The owners were extremely welcoming and provided us with information about the area. Literature was also available in the cottage. The cottage had every implement you could wish for when cooking. We were fortunate enough to stay the last week in March when the country had very hot weather - early mini heatwave! We left the car most days and walked the Dales Way, over stiles, through the sheep and met lots of locals to chat with. Ilkley was lovely, beer cheap in Weatherspoons! We have already booked again for next year!

“Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners,they did us proud. The cottage is located 3 miles from Llanbedr, down some narrow country lanes, it is off the beaten track really quiet, it is also very cosy and warm. Brian & Patricia Farthing / Alan & Julie Frost

“Lovely cottage and gardens” Lovely cottage, gardens and orchard and and Paul could not have been nicer. His restoration of the property was excellent and great attention was paid to little details inside the cottage. There was more than enough matching cutlery and dishes and all that one would require. The location was quiet and sheltered and we enjoyed our stay. Anyone wishing to go to York would be wise to take advantage of the Park and Ride system. We liked the cottage and Paul best and no negative points except if one only wanted a drink or a pub meal one would need to use the car.

“A true escape” My partner & I spent a week in the annex recently. The location is wonderful in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting very close to the beach and the beach bar and with great views of Knocknarea, which is a worthwhile climb or for a longer walk do the 15km walk which takes in the climb starting & finishing in Strandhill. The area is an ideal base for walking. We walked the Sligo Way over 3 days, starting in Lough Talt & finishing 73kms later in Dromahair. Beautiful & varying scenery all along the way. If 3 days is not for you any section of this way is breathtaking. Closer to home is the aughris Head/Dunmoran Strand Walk, a gorgeous cliff walk. The annex itself is comfortable and we enjoyed the added peace as there was noone staying in the attaching beach house while we were there until the last 2 nights, waking up each morning to just the sound of cows & sheep, a real escape.

“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook,and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.

“Peaceful 'get away'” Outstanding, friendly but not intrusive service. Ample equipment to cook a simple meal. Cosy,clean, comfortable home.Beautiful surroundings;quiet relaxing yet easy to get to anglesey(we enjoyed a 'rib' ride up the Menai straits)and other attractive parts of N.Wales not usually visited. “Peace, tranquility, clean air and friendly people” We were welcomed by a lovely neighbour to the property who took us round the cottage and clearly explained everything and that, if we needed anything at all, she was just a short walk or phone call away. The welcome pack was a very nice and unexpected touch. The charming 300 year old cottage, which was very well-equipped with all the modern amenities, was clean and very homely, still containing personal items of the lady that had once lived for most of her life. The owner also paid a pleasant courtesy call to see that we had everything we needed. Just 5 minutes drive from Ardpatrick or 10 minutes from the larger Kildorrerey and situated approximately halfway between Limerick and Cork, this is an isolated location with little or no nightlife but rich in beauty, peace and tranquility. A perfect medicine for the stressed-out city dweller! I have only one issue - anyone over 5'4" will have to do some head-ducking when moving around the bedrooms but that comes with the charm and age of the cottage. All in all, a memorable experience which we are likely to repeat.

“Didnt stay in this building ...” Gor the dairy instead so people who had booked didnt have to move out & back in. Very lovely people & dog, Molly on working farm in very quiet area. Barn owl flew over car on approach to house. So cosy & had everything we needed for weekend break. One place I would go back to & not just for homemade cake on arrival. Did find farm hard to find due to lack of lighting on road through but no real problem
