In a hidden fishermen village, an undiscovered gem, only 3 nautic miles from Zadar on the island of Ugljan, called Kukljica, we rent a small house, private and secluded, a real retreat, consisting of two separate apartments, one on the ground floor another on the first floor, connected with outside stairs. It is ideal for a party of 4 grown ups and 2 children, or just two couples, seeking peaceful and yet interesting holiday.

The house is renovated, furniture kept simple yet cozy, within short walking distance from the sea.

Island Ugljan is the closest island of the Zadar archipelago, opposite the town of Zadar, from which is divided by only 3 nautic miles wide channel of Zadar and it is connected with many ferryboat lines. It is also called the green island, covered with dense bush, pine trees, olive-groves, fig-groves, vineyards and other Mediterranean vegetation.
Kukljica is a picturesque touristic and fishermen's village located in the southeast end of the island of Ugljan overlooking the island of Pašman. It is connected to the island of Pašman by a bridge.
Guests are charmed by scenic beauty of the village dominated with dense pine forests, sand and rocky beaches on the shores of crystal clear sea, harbour protected by natural cove. Kukljica is often referred to as “the gate to the National park Telaščica and National park Kornati” due to proximity to the Ždrelac Passage. Sea-oriented and living off seafaring and fishery for generations. It is favorite holiday destination for many tourists, sailors and hikers, as well as families with children, as well as young and mature visitors.

The house we are inviting you to is situated in the historic village core with its original examples of folk architecture.

Rural buildings are modest in their shapes and sizes and possess rustic features. They are small but graceful country houses that emanate Mediterranean warmth. Its origin was conditioned by many requests, primarily with tradition and mentality, area and material available for the building

In 5 minutes walk you reach a large natural bay always filed with fishing and excursion boats, yachts and sailing ships. Walk on coastline and sandy beaches in the shadows of centuries old pines is enjoyment for every guest. Sand and pebble beaches such as Sabuša, Kostanj and Jelenica can be found on the both sides of the island.

Kukljica is a fishing village, very recently discovered by tourist who seek something new and different. It has the charm of a village, yet there are restaurants , coffee shops, shops with basic food, and fresh fish to be bought for a few coins from local fishermen. The surrounding islands can be reached very easily and we offer you an opportunity to sail with us, as we have our own boat. We will prepare grilledg fish and serve you home made wine!
