Description
La Bucaille is situated in the tranquil rural hamlet of Montgardon, only 3 minutes by car (1.5 miles, 20 minutes if you fancy a stroll) from the popular Normandie market town of La Haye du Puits (which has got everything you need from good restaurants, bars and brasseries to an assortment of shops (including many French traditional shops).
The Gîte is part of a longère, which was built in the 1700's. The Gîte was renovated in 2008. This has been done to a very high standard by local artisans, retaining many of its original features, including a beautifully restored original open fireplace with an inset woodburning stove for those cosy nights by the fire.
The beautiful, spacious furnished living room is fully equipped to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Good sized kitchen/diner, is well equipped for all your self catering needs, including oven, hob, fridge and microwave.
Large downstairs family bathroom with separate shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet, shaving point and heated towel rail.
The spacious master bedroom has been tastefully decorated with original exposed wooden beams. It is fully furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The second bedroom is a twin room, furnished with twin beds, bedside cabinet and shelf storage. Both bedrooms have oil-filled electric radiators and good quality mattresses have been provided to guarantee a comfortable night's sleep, ready for the day ahead.

“A lovely holiday”
We have had 2 lovely weeks in the Gite. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Mark and Mel are very friendly and welcoming hosts and left us a very nice welcoming pack. The area is quiet but within reach of many interesting places and restaurants. Sittindpg in the garden you can see and hear lots of birds and butterflies This is our first time in the Gite and not on their campsite with our caravan and we throughly enjoyed it
