What a beautiful condo, conveniently located, comfortably appointed and with so many choices for how to enjoy your time. Listen to the waves while you read or walk the beach, run to seal beach, eat at a different restaurant in LaJolla for every meal or shop of a few groceries at Jonathan's and never leave the condo! I have stayed here three times and will return again. Easy rental process, attentive to details.

The property is a lovely with beautiful views. We spent every evening watching the sunset from the balcony. As we were blessed with lovely weather we made use of the beach towels, beach chairs and the bikes. Providing these as part of the rental for us was a great bonus. Having the bikes was fantastic as it gave us a break from using the car as we had been touring before arriving in San Diego. We also enjoyed having the barbecue as it was a change to eating out all the time.
When looking at rentals we were not sure if the property would be too far from restaurants and shops but we actually preferred this part of town as much quieter and the beach was much nicer.

Our family (dad, mum & 7 month old daugher) had a great 10 days in La Jolla. The area is stunning with lots to do & the apartment was the perfect base for that.
We really appreciated the high quality pack'n'play & high chair provided to cater for us. The apartment overall is very well maintained & looks like it was fully refurbished recently as all very much on trend.
When using a rental its the smaller touches that count, so the fact that the cutlery was all new & matching, the knives were sharp, towels fresh & not worn, basics like olive oil/salt/pepper provided etc etc all added up to allowing us to be very comfortable. Vital when we spent a lot of time in the apartment with the little one.
The beach is just a minute away & again all is provided with bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and so forth available to use.
We also loved the outside space - it had just enough room for mum & dad to enjoy a meal as the sun went down, plus lounge on the chairs to get some rays.
Finally, don't worry about the parking. If you can't reverse in/out then you should be asking yourself whether you're qualified to drive or suffer a bit of parking pressure just because its walls on both sides rather than a wide open parking lot. We rented a Nissan altima and had no worries.
Two tips - if planning on cooking in, get a Vons card as even on one shop it saves you cash, plus go to the Farmers Market at the weekend for some great local produce.
Overall would stay again & highly recommend it.

My daughter and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay!
The house is very comfortable and safe, located just steps away from the ocean in what I now consider as the best spot in la Jolla. The windandsea beach offers amazing sunset and the ocean is a permanent show with many surfers and huge waves. Biking to la Jolla cove and around was easy and very pleasant. I would definitly recommend the place and would love to go back again!

We just spent four nights at this lovely beach condo after staying in Coronado for three. I'm so glad we made the move to La Jolla, and in particular the historic Windansea area. Highlights were the extremely close proximity to one of the most spectacular coastlines, (literally a 30 second walk), the elevated patio ocean view (stunning sunsets!), and having our own parking space. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the nicely labeled cupboards/drawers so we knew where everything went. We enjoyed having the full kitchen for mostly breakfast/lunch, although we made the most of the BBQ one evening. Another nice feature for us was the beach accessories, which were used to their fullest, and an added bonus was being able to do laundry before we left to fly home! At first I was a bit concerned that I might find this beach area too far from the Village, but this turned out not to be the case. It is a very short car ride away, and we much preferred the scenery where we were. We were still easily able to go into the village in the morning for some shopping, and back in the evening for dinner. We also enjoyed our daily walks through the sumptuous neighbourhoods close by. Last but not least, Pacific Sands Vacations was amazing to deal with-professional and helpful. Nothing negative to say about this place! We'd love to go back!

I have rented multiple times in San Diego but this was the loveliest and most trouble-free rental. Pacific Sands contacts, Nichole and Peter, attended to every detail before I arrived which made it simple to move in and enjoy fully. The space is updated, clean, quiet, and a perfect retreat for two people. I appreciated the extra touches, like being able to choose from a few sharp knives, filtered water pitcher in the frig ready to go, organized, drawers with contents labeled on the edge and things like paper towels, soap and tissues provided, which is not consistently the case when you rent. Thank you all and to our lovely hosts for sharing their home with my husband and I. We will definitely be back. (I really don't want to post this cause I want it to be available when I want to come back!)

The condo was fabulous - awesome location, extremely clean, well decorated and modern. The ocean view was beautiful and we loved sitting out on the spacious balcony, listening to the waves crash and watching the surfers and the sunsets. Highly recommended.

We really liked this small apartment. The location is ideal (3 minutes from the nice Windansea beach) and the view from the small terrace is fantastic. The apartment is very comfortable for a couple without children. We appreciated Ruth's assistance (the owner) during our stay. We know La Jolla and like the village atmosphere, shopping opportunities and nice restaurants on Prospect Street.
"Quiet Well appointed Condo 2 Minutes Walk to Windansea Beach"

Condo was situated within 2 minutes walk of Windansea beach in a quiet neighborhood. It was about 20 minutes walk into La Jolla town center. The condo was very clean and well appointed with all the essentials. Owner had also provided bikes, beach toys and chairs which were great. View of the ocean from the balcony (over the rooftops) and great place to watch the sunset in the evening, even better is to walk down to the beach and watch the fishermen and the surfers. Sofa bed was very comfortable and was nice to have the air conditioning. Owner was very responsive to issue with shedding towels and remedied situation with replacements within a couple of hours. Parking is adequate although a little narrow. We had a Camry which fit okay but anything wider would be difficult. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.

Great location! Very quiet neighborhood. Condo exceeded our expectations in every sense. It felt like home away from home. Too many very thoughtfully taken care of details to mention in this review. Owner greeted us at check-in. Welcome booklet contains very usefull information regarding local activities. Definitely recommend to everyone. We plan on coming back.

This apartment is perfectly located in the nicest beach community in the San Diego area. Compared to similar past rentals, this one seemed a little pricey, but after being there, it is easy to see why. The location is just perfect, and the apartment has everything you need. We stayed at a less expensive place in Paris last year, although the location was perfect, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect at this spot. I was very happy with our choice. Besides being perfectly located near the beach, but not on the beach (which really is best--quiet and private), the apartment met my fussy standards of cleanliness, there was an outside shower for rinsing the sand off of your feet, fleece throws for chilly evenings (definitely used those!), sharp knives for real cooking, a nice grill (which we used several times), soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom, and chairs to take to the beach. We loved the neighborhood as well--just lovely--enjoyed running and walking here--a real treat. One of my favorite things about the apartment was being able to open the doors to the balcony and hear the waves crashing on the beach below--we left the doors open all the time (I don't know what kind of price tag you can put on that, but I sure am missing it now!). This was a very good experience--truly a home away from home.

We really enjoyed this condo. Very close to the beach and the condo was very well stocked with everything you will need. We noticed all the fine touches the owners put into the property. Thanks for making our stay so special and yes we would surely stay here again.
