"The house, location and weather were perfect for our stay in La Quinta"

The house went far over our expectations and the location of the town inside La Quinta was perfect for the full "California Experience". Being from Canada, the home was a perfect place to spend our vacation and the pool was perfect for the typically beautiful weather. We will definitely be looking to go back to this wonderful place soon.
"Your personal retreat."

This property has everything you need and more for a great vacation. Your personal pool/hot tub, walled/secured/private yard, bbq, washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen and a great master bedroom with your own access to the pool area. The views from the property are beautiful with a mountain background. It has an attached garage with access to the house, so that you don't have to leave your vehicle out in the hot California sun. Location is fantastic with only 10mins walks to two different play grounds and a large out door pool. Also within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops in Old Town La Quinta. After only a short time in the area, we found navigating around to different areas of the City to be quite easy, with many more great food places and shopping. The house is located in a very quiet area and sleeping was not a problem. Palm Springs is only 25mins away, Sea World San Diego 3hrs, Disneyland 2.5hrs, Phoniex 3.5hrs and many other great attractions to check out within short distances from the home. After a long day of travelling around checking this out, it is nice to come back to a place that is all your own, without having to worry about when the pool closes, or is the restaurant closed, people keep coming and going slamming the door, are we making to much noise for the people above, below or beside us.

We had a super time in La Quinta. It is a very short walk to the Village where we enjoyed many happy hours. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. The house had every amenity you could ever need. Can't wait to go back again.

WE just love this place and only wish we could stay longer each visit.
The house is set up perfectly and you feel right at home when you go thru the door. Pool is so private and the views are amazing. It really is a piece of paradise. Area has everything you need as far as dining, shopping and so much more.
Can not say enough good things about this house & pool/patio.
Thanks so much for letting us experience your desert paradise. Can not wait to go back!!
"Love this Casa and the Cove!"

We have stayed here several times and love it more each time. The house is close to everything, but private. It is very well-appointed and is very comfortable for a couple or a crowd. The views of the mountains are spectacular. The location is near hiking trails and to the Village, which has excellent restaurants and amenities.
About La Quinta
Located in the gorgeous Coachella Valley of California, La Quinta is a relaxing desert resort town. Bordered by the beautiful peaks of the Santa Rosa Mountains and blanketed by deep blue skies, La Quinta has a wonderful desert atmosphere. For a town in Southern California, La Quinta has a rather long history, founded by Spanish settlers in the 18th century. It later became a hideaway for Hollywood celebrities when the first golf course opened in La Quinta in the 1920s.
Today, La Quinta offers warm weather, desert scenery, great shopping, and a friendly low-key atmosphere, all of the qualities that have made the neighboring town of Palm Springs so famous. Within the clean and well-planned downtown district, there are many public parks and green spaces for walking, not to mention, plenty of designer boutiques, restaurants, and galleries. A great place to spend the day shopping, La Quinta's Old Town is filled with old-fashioned street lamps, fountains, palm trees, and dining al fresco. There is even a public art program, through which local sculptors and muralists display work throughout the town.
For the outdoorsy type of traveler, there are wonderful hiking trails in the surrounding Santa Rosa Mountains. Golf is also one of the major attractions in La Quinta. While you are here, check out several of the courses in the region, in particular, the Silver Rock Golf Resort, where the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic PGA golf is held. Additionally, you can test the irons at La Quinta-Dunes Course, PGA West Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course, and others. If you prefer an indoor experience, book an afternoon of pampering at one of the city's many luxury spas.
If you are planning a trip to La Quinta, add these items to your itinerary:
- San Jacinto Mountains National Park: A craggy snow-topped mountain range near La Quinta, San Jacinto boasts remarkable desert scenery.
- La Quinta Mountain Course: If you've already played at SilverRock, try this friendly 18-hole golf course in La Quinta.
- Lake Cahuilla County Park: A desert oasis, this large public park is a great place to picnic, fish, or take a stroll in the shadow of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
- Palm Desert: Spend a day shopping on El Paseo in the neighboring town of Palm Desert, a great place for art and fashion.
Enjoy a winter retreat in the desert heat with a La Quinta vacation rental. A town that is well suited to relax, you can beat the heat in the private pool at your condo, or enjoy spending time with the entire family in a spacious villa near one of La Quinta's famous greens.
