Built in solid granite in the late 19th century, the Villa Bon Vent is a family home located directly opposite the yacht basin in La Turballe. Summer or Winter you can watch the yachts and fishing trawlers come and go. The sea changes colour according to its mood. Far off, from the window of your bedroom, you can see the former corsair port of Le Croisic, to your left the long stretch of sand leading to Pen Bron, the Four Plateau lighthouse on the horizon, on a clear day you can just see the islands of Houat and Hoêdic, and even further away..... America !!
The Villa Bon Vent offers 3 bedrooms, each with a perfect seaview.
" Ker Anne " Named after your hostess the maritime theme of this spacious bedroom will delight you. You will fall asleep in your king size bed of 160 cm. This room has a 90 cm bed as well. You can write your postcards on an antique "société de boule de fort" table. Independent bathroom.
" Kerigeole " Named after an ancient manor in nearby Trescallan overlooking La Turballe you will be charmed by its pale grey and Guérande red décor. Sleep soundly in a 140cm bed. "Kerigeole" has a 90cm bed as well
Fully equipped shower room.
" Ker Lucille " Named after your hostesses daughter, the cosy and refined elegance of this bedroom will charm you. Sleep like a baby in a 140 cm bed. The décor is a subtle blend of "toile de Jouy" and old "toile de Mayenne".
Independent shower and washbasin.
La Turballe is a fishing port. Walk around the wharves, visit the fishing museum, the fishing co-operative....Bring your rod and fish from the breakwater or the beach or go out in a boat with a professional guide.
La Turballe borders the Guérande saltmarshes, world renowned for the salt produced here for more than a millenium. By bicycle or horsedrawn cart, take the time to discover this delicate balance created and maintained by Man and Nature. Watch the saltgatherers harvest the famous "Fleur de Sel de Guérande" using gestures handed down through the centuries.

The chic resort town of La Baule is only 12 km away - try your luck at blackjack in the casino, relax in a salt water spa, play a round of golf (45 holes on an international course), gallop a horse along the beach at dawn or dusk, visit the boutiques near the casino and on the Avenue de Gaulle.
Explore the eerie world of La Brière in a flat bottomed punt that you pole yourself or take a guided tour in a party.

Villa Bon Vent is located on a pedestrian plateau in the centre of La Turballe overlooking the yacht basin. It has a panoramic view of the bay and the wide, sandy beach stretching away towards Ben Bron and Le Croisic. The wide variety of excellent restaurants and bars are all within a couple of minutes walk from the villa. Just a few minutes away are the world-famous Guérande saltmarshes where man has been using the same gestures to gather salt for two thousand years. Across the bay is colourful Le Croisic, the former corsair refuge. And only 15 minutes by car will take you to the glamourous beach resort of La Baule, home to one of the world's most important showjumping events. Guérande, the medieval walled city, will charm you with its boutiques, cobbled streets and its magnificent Gothic abbey church in solid, austere granite.
The comfort of the TGV high-speed train will bring you from Paris in just 3 hours. If you come by car parking is readily available just adjacent to the Villa Bon Vent. And we will lend you the "zone bleu" parking disk in high season.
