Description

Encosta da Marina is a new complex in a desirable location only a few minutes from Lagos Marina, the beach and the town of Lagos.

Encosta da Marina is superbly located only a few hundred meters from the Marina de Lagos with its lively selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. It's also only a short stroll to the supermarket and the beach. This spacious 2 bedroom , 2 bathroom apartment is fully air-conditioned with a large balcony with built in BBQ. A perfect holiday apartment for families.

From the front entrance of the apartment block there are about 5 steps up to the front door of the apartment, once inside to the left is the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and all modern appliances, there is a door out from the kitchen onto the terrace with a built in BBQ.

The living area is large and airy with a spacious lounge and a dining table and 4 chairs, there are 2 faux leather sofas and a flat screen TV , there is also an IPTV system in place with all free view UK channels, BBC and ITV, the living area had patio doors leading out to the large balcony with an outside dining table and four chairs for some al fresco dining. From the balcony you can see over towards the Marina and town of Lagos.

There are 2 bedrooms the Master suite has a King size bed and the twin bedroom has 2 single zip lock beds (please notify us of your preference of this room being a double or twins in advance) the en-suite has a bath and over head shower. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom with a shower room located in the hall. Both bedrooms have windows that have view out towards the pool area, due to the high hedge surrounding the pool there is no pool view though.

The pool area is lovely with a large pool surrounded by sun loungers, a lawned area for children to play and a children's pool. There are also toilet and shower facilities by the pool.

The apartment is situated only a few hundred meters from the Marina and the golden sands of the Meia Praia beach, the Marina which is a few minutes walk away offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a larger variety of restaurants, bars, cafe, shopping and markets.

In the summer evenings there is also an abundance of street entertainment throughout the pedestrianised streets of Lagos. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is less than a 5 minute walk, with a variety of water sport activities available, that can be arranged from the Marina da Lagos.

Palmares Golf course, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Course are a 5 to 25 minute drive away. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive.

Nearest supermarket: Pingo Doce is 10 minutes walk away for all your culinary needs.

Nearest beach: Meia Praia is just a 10 minute walk away. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months and there are several beach bars/restaurants with varying menus.

Nearest restaurant: A typical Portuguese restaurant, Bom Pecado, is a 5 minute walk -they do a great lunch special.

The Marina de Lagos is a 10 minutes walk away and there is a wide variety of restaurants available specializing in international cuisine. families are welcome.

“Super Apartment”

We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment with our 2 daughters, it was a very well equipped apartment & a great location. We booked just a few days before we arrived and found the Algarve Accommodation very helpful & informative. We had a late arrival time of 9pm, we were delighted to receive a welcome pack of breakfast essentials when we were met at the apartment by the rep. We have stayed in other apartments in this complex for many years & have found the location super & the sun beds at the pool are always available. We will definitely be returning.
