Description
Built into the original rampart wall of this striking and beautiful medieval village we have created a spacious and romantic one bedroom apartment, especially for couples. Furnished with choice antiques and unique art, the apartment is approximately 100m2 with a lovely circular terrace overlooking the river and the medieval bridge. The sun sets directly opposite - perfect for those long summer evenings.
"IMPORTANT NOTE"
A TAXE DE SEJOUR is now unfortunately obligatory. This is a charge applied by the French Government and is applicable only to those over the age of 18. It is a charge/night at 5% of the total cost/person. Once your reservation is confirmed and a complete payment has been made, I will send you a booking form that you would need to complete. This form will have details regarding the Taxe de Séjour which will need to be paid prior to your arrival.

This medieval house situated on the banks of the Orbieu river in beautiful Lagrasse provides not only an ideal base to explore this rich and historic region but also acts as a destination in itself.
The internal courtyard always stays cool and shady, even on the hottest summer days. Step out of the back and go for a paddle in the river or step out of the front door to find yourself in the heart of this special village. Parts of the house date back to medieval days. The cool colours of the ancient stone walls combine with the thoughtful renovation to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
