Carpools, Errands, and Fast-Paced Routines...they blur one into the next. We lose ourselves in the routine of everyday life and forget about what really matters, but eventually IT finds us...a memory of yester years. IT may be a memory of running through the sprinkler, playing ghost in the graveyard, or remembering how simple life used to be. As life moves faster and faster, it gets harder and harder to stop and relish in the little things life has to offer. Why not just go with the flow and let the day unfold as it was meant to be? How about spending a day on the water soaking up the sun or marveling at the new sights and sounds of the world around us? Why not enjoy your next family vacation in this cozy lake home located on beautiful Lake Como where a simple sunrise can be magic. There is something here for everyone in your family. The lake is great for fishing, boating and swimming so don't forget to pack your bathing suit and head to the beach down the road. There is a boat launch at the end of Lake Shore Drive, next to the beach, so feel free to bring any water craft you may have. Our house is cozy and comfortable and decorated in a nautical theme. In addition to the two bedrooms with brand new full sized beds, there's also two very comfortable day beds with trundles and four twin mattresses. You will also find plenty of extra pillows and blankets for those chilly evenings. There's 1 full bathroom, a 42" flat screen tv in the great room with an electric fireplace entertainment center, satellite TV, a Nintendo Wii, a Bluetooth speaker, and plenty of board games to keep the kids busy on that occasional rainy day. In addition to the fire pit, where you can roast marshmellows and make homemade smores, there's also plenty of outside games to keep the family busy including bocce ball, cornhole (bags), and volleyball.The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the accessories to cook up a great meal or you could take advantage of the gas BBQ grill on the deck overlooking the lake and cook outside. If you would rather eat out, 2 blocks west of the house is "DJ's In The Drink" a bar/restaurant that serves food and beverages. A little further down Lake Shore Drive is "Freddie's West End" that serves one of the best Wisconsin Fish Fry's in the area on Friday nights. Across the lake is "Mars Resort", a classic Wisconsin Supper Club that is nestled on the South Shore of Lake Como with amazing sunsets! All three establishments have docks. If you prefer winter months, enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling and ice skating on the lake...it does freeze over during the winter. Alpine Valley and The Grand Geneva Ski Resorts are only a short drive away. It is a 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva where there are also a variety of shops and restaurants to chose from. Upon request, there's a highchair available. This home is available to rent monthly and all year round. Maximum amount of guests-8. Sorry, no pets allowed.
