The North Lake Tahoe Historical Society operates two museums located in Tahoe City, CA, the Gatekeeper’s Museum and the Watson Cabin. The Gatekeeper’s Museum houses an 800-plus collection called the Marion Steinbach Collection of Native American baskets from dozens of tribes west of the Rockies.
