My wife and I were looking for a place in the North Carolina mountains for a summer getaway. When we left home, Augusta, Georgia, the temperature was 98 degrees. When we arrived that afternoon the temperature was in the 70's. This "cabin" was perfect for our situation. The furnishings, kitchen, beds, porches, and TV,s were as good as it gets. Each evening we would sit on the covered porch, have our refreshments, and then go in to cook our dinner. With our small dog we took several hikes a day for her exercise as well as ours.
I highly recommend this mountain getaway for anyone who wants cool seclusion in the heat of summer.
