“Family stay for May wedding” Our family, including my parents, brother, sister, fiancee, and myself stayed here for a week during which my older brother got married in Dublin. The house was perfect for our family and we especially enjoyed the large family living spaces. The weather was perfect for our stay and we really enjoyed the gorgeous courtyard. The location was a great starting point for touring throughout the city and we had no problem walking to City Center - about 15-20 minutes away. Simon was incredibly accommodating for check-in, meeting us at shortly after 6 in the morning so we could get some sleep before starting the day. Thanks again to Simon and Jo for the wonderful stay!

Luxurious and central

I was very impressed with the high standard of this apartment, from furniture, beds to soft furnishings. All very luxurious and spotlessly clean. Apartment was very central to Dublin city centre and yet only 20 mins by car to naas in kildare where we went horse racing. Will definitely choose this place to stay for the Punchestown racing festival as we like self catering accommodation. Grainne ( the owner) answered all our enquiries promptly and was very nice and helpful to deal with. She made great suggestions about shopping trips and while we were in kildare visited the kildare shopping outlet. Overall the apartment was 5 star self catering accommodation in Dublin. I see it has won several prizes and has been highly recommended by various sites (flopkey, trip advisor ) and others and in my opion it deserves it all. … see more

"The apartment was in excellent condition and beautifully clean . Collection at the airport was a real bonus and the driver gave us a overview of our bearings on the way. We had everything we needed including hairdryers, umbrellas , kitchen utensils and even a ' house' cell phone plus fast Wifi. An ideal location for the trams and buses and we could get everywhere we wanted to within about 20 minutes. Everyone has been exceptionally friendly and helpful, we would certainly return and highly recommend it ". … see more

Comfortable, Accessible, Clean and Effective!

Grainne was a lovely host during our stay, being very understanding, prompt in answering every questions we had and even left many travel brochures for our use and welcome us with a few of Irish food items to try! A warm and surprising welcome given by all! Rory the taxi driver gave great insights while passing by town. The apartment was homely and comfortable, a much needed atmosphere when doing tons of work for long weeks (we were there for longer than 4 weeks!) with a working wifii and fireplace for the extra chilly nights during winter. We even had a lovely gathering and cook a feast, with lots of positive comments from our own guests when we held it in the apartment itself! The neighbour Valerie and the cleaning services were of a great help, providing useful tips around town by the locals themselves and making sure the apartment was sparkling clean! The bus outside goes into town fairly quick, and with wifii around, you can organize your time by knowing the timings of the dublin buses! The luas (train) and foodstores nearby is pretty handy too, with loads of awesome take-aways around! I cannot describe enough other than "Thanks a million" to these lovely team of hosts that made our experience in dublin positive one that we cannot forget! … see more

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Our party included 6 adults, 2 couples in each bedroom. Setting the booking with Simon was a very easy process, great communication throughout. Upon arrival, Geraldine and Simon met us with an assortment of scones, breads, juice and milk, and had the teapot ready. Very welcome after a long overnight journey from the US. The property is easily within walking distance of O'Connell Street and other centralised Dublin popular spots. Geraldine recommended some wonderful pubs for us to visit. We also were able to walk to the areas where we picked up day tour buses to take us to other parts of the country. A Tesco grocery store is nearby as well as many butcher shops and open market stalls along Moore Street, which was wonderful for cooking meals in the great kitchen this property has. They provide a nice walking map to help visitors initially navigate the streets to walk into town; but we quickly found some shorter alternate routes.. Area is very quiet and you definitely get a flavor for living in a Dublin neighborhood, which we enjoyed! Rooms, linens, towels, kitchen supplies are all excellent. Everything is here to make your stay complete. Property has a lot of information about what to do/see in the area. Geraldine and Simon are more than willing to answer any questions. They also pointed us to resources to arrange our transportation to/from the airport. While we didn't have any children in our party, the accommodation is kid-friendly! We highly recommend staying here if you're headed for Dublin. … see more
