Lovely house with private pool and amazing views less than 5 minutes walk from the sandy beach of Cala Montgo. Casa Tomas is a beautifully presented 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house which has been lovingly refurbished by its owners. The house is equipped with everything you would expect in a luxury house including high quality furnishings, Nespresso coffee machine and Satellite UK and Netflix TV, wifi.
The entrance hallway leads firstly to the lounge (leather sofas seating 6 comfortably, Satellite TV, and indoor dining table). Patio door from the lounge lead out onto a covered terrace area with spectacular views of the sea, Pyrenees Mountains and the surrounding Emporda countryside. The terrace is equipped with exterior sofas and a table for "Al fresco" dining. The house also boasts 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms (master double with ensuite, 2nd bedroom with double bed and 3rd bedroom with twin beds). The main family bathroom is equipped with a bath / shower and the kitchen is equipped with full sized oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, etc.
The private swimming pool and surrounding terrace are south west facing and catch the sun all day. Various sun loungers and garden chairs surround the pool area. There is also a brick built BBQ and further dining terrace located behind the pool terrace (next to the BBQ).
Casa Tomas is less than 5 minutes walk down to the sandy beach of Cala montgo and is also just a couple of minutes walk from Isla Mateua (a small rocky cove with an island at it centre which is a fabulous place for the more adventurous; snorkelling its crystal clear water or rock jumping from the island).
the local amenities are also very good, with the nearest well stocked supermarket (with in-house bakery and butcher) less than 5 minutes walk and various bars and good quality restaurants (including Oreig, Hotel Can Miguel restaurant andThe Brassa surrounding the beach of Cala Montgo. Cala Montgo is also located at the end of the "Carillet" tourist road train (operates like a local bus) which operates throughout the day (high season timetable is 9.00am until nearly midnight) for anyone wishing to visit L' Escala for dinner or shopping without taking the car. If you are looking for a little adventure, Paddle boards and Kayaks are available to rent in Cala Montgo and Illa Mateua (4 minutes walk) boasts one of the areas best scuba diving centres.
Casa Tomas is a fantastic location for anyone looking for that perfect beach holiday whether it is just a relaxing at the beach, by the pool or for those wanting a little more activity.
