We love Kauai and this condo is in a great location to explore both directions from. The condo is clean, nicely decorated and in a quiet location with an amazing beach to walk on just steps away. We cooked several meals at the poolside bbq's and spent many morning at the beach enjoying our first coffee of the day while watching the sunrise. Garden Island is great to deal with - we will be back again. Read more

It might be helpful if you could send me info regarding the times you are fully reserved, and the times that are slack.

I enjoyed the pool and close to beach for snorkeling and swimming. The kitchen was a plus. The place was clean and the washer and dryer was a great bonus. Good location, close to the main highway, center of the island, central location, close to food and grocery stores. Would go back and stay there again.

Garden Island Properties provided the best service possible for our stay at #103 Kaha Lani, especially as it was such short notice for our booking.- Only five days prior to arrival! The condo was great with absolutely everything we needed and the washer and drier were a real bonus. Plenty of space, beautifully maintained grounds and the location couldn't have been better. We loved being so close to the beach and the lovely walk along to Lidgate Park. All areas of the island were easily accessible too. North, south or west, it was very convenient.

We recently stayed in #103 (Mar. 27 - Apr.7)and had a wonderful time. The condo is just as pictured...nicely decorated & clean. The bed was very comfortable too. Having a washer/dryer is an added bonus. We enjoyed the grounds outside, pool, & the close proximity to the beach. The grounds keepers & security are very friendly too.
It is a great location on the island as it is rather centrally located. It is rather secluded compared to many other condos, another nice feature.

For the budget minded traveler, this condo was perfect for my needs. After a 5.5 hour delayed flight to Kauai, it was great to walk in to the condo and immediately feel like home. The sliding glass door opened up very wide, allowing the trade winds to instantly cool down the condo. Because the condo is a short distance from the water, I could hear the waves crashing on the beach. The condo didn't have a view of the beach, however, I knew that from the description. I enjoyed sitting on the lanai every night listing to the waves.
Because I was a single traveler, I never had need to use the 2nd bathroom, however, I think it is a good thing the condo has 2 bathrooms, as it is easily large enough for a family. In a moment of weakness, I tried turning on the tv, but I couldn't seem to get it to work, so I read...I watch too much tv at home anyway.
The atmosphere around the condo is quiet. In the evening I seldom heard more than quiet talking from the neighbors. During the day, workers tend to the gardens & buildings, it is never intrusive and they are very friendly.
I didn't use the full kitchen as I ate out more than I had expected, tho it was nice to know it was there. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances, including some condiments that were left.
I have rented before from Garden Island Properties (and renting from them again later this year), they are good people with some amazing properties available. I recommend them to friends all the time. Read more

A very good unit in a good complex.

Almost all the service provided was done online before we arrived. There was a glitch with the wireless on arrival but the company came and put it right within hours.
The condo was just what we had hoped for with a washer/dryer. Lots of pots and pans and dishware.
The location so close to a wonderful beach with almost no/no other people was the best and we walked everyday for miles. It is very handy for all amenities either way on the main highway.
The best aspect was its location. the least was the absence of air conditioning which meant we had to have our windows open at night and the local roosters rise very early, every morning. We would certainly go there again and recommend this unit to everyone.

This is our third stay inb unit 103 and we continue to appreciate our experiencxe there...but it is probably time to upgrade the TV or at least the channel selection. We can remember the TV being there for at least the past 6 years.

The service was second to none, however unit 103 at the Kaha Lani Resort was very hot, and not very private. The bathroom and bedroom are directly beside the parking lot and a sidewalk barely 3 feet away. Because of the heat and no air conditioning we were compelled to leave the curtains and windows open, leaving us exposed to anybody walking by!
The unit itself is very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, very nice furniture and having a washer/dryer in the condo was a plus.
The TV is quite small probably 21" CRT.
The pool area is very nice as is the whole complex, we had a chance to look at other units which would have suited much better. In my opinion unit 103 should not be rented without air conditioning. Read more

Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to comment on your stay. The Kaha Lani Board of Directors does not allow air conditioning in any of their rooms due to the noise factor of the units. We have had quite an unusually warm fall this year. Generally there is always a nice breeze coming off the ocean.
