Description
Fabulous 1940’s cottage oceanfront on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The view is incredible!
This is a two story home that sleeps 6-8 people with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 over sized sleeping pads and a futon. The living and dining rooms are continuous with wide views of the surf, sand and offshore rocks. Living room furniture seats 6 comfortably with sofa, chaise and 2 leather chairs, one of which is a recliner by the fireplace. The upstairs Master Suite is a romantic retreat with a spectacular ocean view, a separate sitting area, fireplace and its’ own private bathroom (shower only). Two additional bedrooms are located on the main floor, with one also boasting a spectacular ocean view and both sharing the second handicapped accessible bathroom (shower only). A relaxing Hot Tub on a spacious deck overlooks the surf. Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Amenities include High Speed Internet , Cable TV, 2 DVDs, 3 LCD TVs (39", 37" & 19”) and Play Station.
• Beach is accessible: by Handicap Ramp or stairs less than one block away.
• Within walking distance are a casino, grocery store, coffee shop, book store and other shops.
• Pets accepted under some conditions.

Response from the owner BCB was my first guest for the new year. They and I anticipate a good year at the beach. Lincoln City is working to improve visitor's experience by managing traffic, encouraging outdoor opportunities and of course, keeping beaches safe. Wintertime blown glass balls are hidden all along the shore, finders keepers. Thank you BCB for noting that my Cottage is well equipped for families. It is my only rental and my host, Randy and I work to make it warm and welcoming. Randy typically sends a welcome text, turns up the heat, turns on lights and music. Nothing, however, equals the WOW of the view. Who next new year will welcome 2020 at Seafront Cottage? Kay Weaver

“Fun, fun, fun, and an amazing view too!”

Highly recommend! Beautiful beach, great location. You can have your dog on beach & a free fireworks show from the locals that know they can break the law.

Response from the owner So glad you got to be there for the prohibited fireworks. There is actually a free king size fireworks display put on by Chinook Winds Casino which is about a block away. They schedule it annually the weekend before July 4. I agree about the beautiful beach. Since it is a gradual bank, even in high surf there is a wide expanse of sand for morning walks. Oceanfront, hot tub, casino. Location is wonderful - Everything within 1 to 1 and a half hrs. away. Rental was perfect. You could go both directions.

Response from the owner Thanks for noting that the location provides easy access to sites along the Central Oregon Coast. It is a short drive north to Pacific City where the dory boats launch directly into the surf. South it is 11 miles to Depot Bay, the self proclaimed whale watching capital. Depot Bay also has fishing boats arriving across a narrow bar directly under a bridge where visitors can look right down on them, or you can lunch at my favorite, Tidal Raves, and look down on the waves crash over rocks below. Then there is Newport with 2 lighthouses and beyond that the Sea Lion Caves. Lots to see in this area both north and south. Book now as summer fills up quickly at my Seafront Cottage! You can reserve dates with just a small deposit and pay the balance just 30 days prior to your arrival. Kay Weaver

Response from the owner I'm glad you found good restaurants, Michael. The adjacent Chinook Winds Casino also offers an opulent buffet with fresh seafood on Friday nights. The tribal folks know all about salmon! You were our first guest to enjoy the new flooring in the kitchen and dining room. Every year I make some major improvement, last year bathroom remodel, this year floors. Oceanfront weather is hard on properties exposed to the wind and direct sun. :) I hope you return again and bring your dog to play on the beach. September-October is prime time for beautiful days at the Oregon coast. Kay
