The pictures truly depicted how nice the cottage was, and it was quite private and cozy. However, we were unable to shower or wash clothes because the water smelled so bad. We tired running it to clear out the pipes and it stunk up the whole cottage like rotten eggs. This did affect the quality of our vacation and we left a day early.

We have four children and two are teenagers, but they all loved the cottage. There were lots of games and magazines they could look at, it was wonderful for going out for daily walks! The cottage was wonderful, big, clean and the washer and dryer and clothes line were great to have! It was close to the beach and we did various day trips which were also fairly close. Everyone was extremely friendly everywhere we went. We loved it and would suggest it to anyone. The only downfall we had was our cell phones and internet stick did not work with Rogers. Not completely bad, it forced me to not be able to do any work and completely relax for one whole week!!!
Would recomend to anyone.

This cottage and location was lovely but the cottage was not prepared at all to accomodate renters. The owners clothes, food and personal belongings were everywhere in the cottage, including a refrigerator and freezer that were full of their food. The worst part was that we arrived to spend Christmas and New Year's so the temps were very cold and no one had bothered to turn the furnace up. It was around 40F inside the cottage and it took over 24 hours to bring the cottage up to respectable temps. The wood stove was useless and did not produce any heat at all. My 90 year old Mother was with us and this situation was absolutely unacceptable. Other than these 2 items the cottage was lovely and once the temperature reached acceptable levels and we moved all of the items we needed to allow us to put our own things away we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

All you need for this type of getaway ( "rent a cottage" vacation) you will find here, except the private beach, but it is located in the forest which gives you absolute privacy.
Very clean, upgrated with h/w floor, new comfy furniture, tastefuly decorated house ... you feel just like at home.
