The cottage has a southwestern exposure with a great sandy area on the shoreline for your children to play. Located in the centre of the Bruce Peninsula you will find this location is a perfect home base for your family to enjoy many day trips from the cottage. Both Tobermory and Lion's Head are a short 20 minute drive away. The entire living area of this cottage occupies one level, consisting of the kitchen, dining and living room areas. The cottage is finished in pine tongue and groove with hardwood floors throughout. The living area has two couches and a propane fireplace. Entertainment is provided by a TV with satellite reception. The dining area has a table that seats six people comfortable for indoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Counter and cupboard space is plentiful. There is also a view of the lake from the window over the sink. The cottage has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and the sleeping loft area offers two double beds (with a ladder access to the loft). One of the selling feature's of this cottage is the outdoor living space. There are many areas outside for your family to enjoy. For starters the large sandy area at the shoreline is a great place to spend the afternoon with your young children. Access to the water is gradual with good swimming. The cottage also has a lakeside gazebo with patio table and chairs inside to enjoy your dinner outdoors, while watching the sunset over Lake Huron. On the roadside of the cottage you will be entertained by the bocce ball court. This is a fun family activity for guests of all ages. This area offers many attractions. Bring your bikes and take a ride along the winding shore road. Check out the famous Lark Whistle gardens (only 10 km away). For those who like to hike, the Bruce Trail is located 3 km away and provides some of the most spectacular hiking in North America. In the village of Tobermory your family can explore some shipwrecks by glass bottom tour boats. The Bruce Peninsula National Park boasts a fantastic park and visitor centre for children of all ages.
