Cottage Profile Charming, four bedroom, 1400 sq ft lakeside cottage located on stunning and peaceful Shouldice Lake on the Northern Bruce Peninsula. This cottage is built in a traditional log cabin style and will provide you with comfort and serenity - you'll soon feel right at home! Inside the cottage you'll find high ceilings and the walls are done in pine logs. The living room is a comfortable space with a large L-shaped couch and a chair situated by a television with satellite. Just adjacent to this is the kitchen. While petit, it has many of the amenities of home including fridge, stove, microwave and more. There are four bedrooms at the cottage. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed while a third bedroom offers three singles (one single is separate, while the other two singles make up a bunkbed). Up the stairs to the loft you'll find the fourth bedroom. This room has a double bed, and in front of the bedroom is a cozy hangout place with a couch and comfy chair, along with another television. This is a great spot to catch up on a book, or relax by the TV in your own space after a day of outdoor fun. There is one bathroom at the cottage and it is a three-piece with a shower. The cottage is located in a natural setting and this is your opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! Sit out on the back deck, which offers an elevated view out to the lake and your peaceful natural surroundings. Lounge in either of the Muskoka chairs. Or sit at the screened-in patio table that seats six and enjoy your dinner outside - don't forget about the propane BBQ, which makes dinner a breeze! For your outdoor enjoyment there is a paddleboat, a canoe, and a row boat so you can get out and enjoy Shouldice Lake however you choose! Shouldice Lake is a small inland lake with shallow entry into the lake before the water gradually gets deeper. As the cottage is located on the Northern Bruce Peninsula is it close to an abundance of outdoor activities. We were extremely pleased to stay at this cottage. This cottage was very clean and orderly when we arrived. It has a very attractive loft area looking down to the kitchen and living area. The kids loved the upstairs and made it their own. The lake is perfect for young swimmers as the water is quite shallow and just awesome for learning the basics of canoeing. Mosquitoes were likely the most unpleasant part of the stay...bring your bug spray!
