The cottage is easy to locate, and was relatively private, as we were there before the traditonal cottage "season". It was a lovely place, very tidy,"homey" and clean, with all the conveniences we needed. The view from the deck is amazing, and the sound of the waves against the rocky shore took all our tensions away. We walked the Bruce Trail along the awesome escarpment with very few other hikers. There was nobody on the beaches either, which we really enjoyed! The peace and quiet, the wonderful weather and the comfort and privacy were just what we needed as a family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cape Chin Cottage 265. The area is beautiful and lots to do, and the cottage was very nice.
We did have a big problem with the cottage in the fact that the water pump was not in service and we had to fill the cistern manually which meant we had to stay close to cottage at times. For the amount we paid for cottage, this should have been looked after. Luckily our neighbor helped us in this matter. There was also a small fridge in dining room that was packed with leftover foods, presumably from previous renters. We wanted to use it but it was full and some of the food was bad which left a terrible odor when you opened the door. We did not clean out but left for obvious reasons. This should have been left clean.
