Cottage Profile This private 800 square foot, two bedroom cottage with a bunkhouse is located on sheltered Bradley Harbour, Lake Huron. There is also 820 square feet of outside deck area for you to enjoy too. The cottage has an open concept kitchen, dining, and living room space. In the living room you will find a couch, two chairs, and television with DVD player. The interior is decorated in pine and laminate flooring and also has cathedral ceilings. Adjacent to the living area is a dining table that seats four comfortably. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, stove, and oven for your convenience. There is also a breakfast bar with four bar stools. Please note though that there is not a lot of cupboard and counter space. Off of the main living area you will find both bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is also a four-piece bathroom as well as a washer and dryer for your use. The cottage has a wrap around covered deck on two sides of the cottage. There is plenty of patio furniture provided for you to relax and read a book on the deck. There is also an outside shower. The cottage is located in a shallow cove and due to the low water levels on Lake Huron, the access to the water is now several steps away. Entry into the water is shallow with a mixture of rubble and flat rock, and is not great for swimming. There is however a nice sand beach located across the road less than a five minute walk away which is a great place for the kids. On the lakeside of the cottage is a fire pit with sitting area - a great spot to sit and enjoy a view of the stars while roasting some marshmallows. The cottage sits on a dead end road, in a quite location. There are many great hiking, biking, and walking trails in this area. It is also centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula with only a 20 minute drive from the villages of Lion's Head and Tobermory as well as the opportunities and views available at the Bruce Trail, Bruce Peninsula National Park and the spectacular cliffs of Georgian Bay.
Additional amenities include: number of bedrooms: 2 plus 1 in the bunk house, deck furniture ( patio table, four-piece, outside deck: 600 square feet, cd player, beds: one queen, floor area: 800 square feet, number of baths: one, muskoka chairs, water source: well, 4 chairs, clothes line, two doubles, fire pit.TripAdvisor property ID 2126970...Read more

The space was comfortable and roomy. Almost too much like home for a summer cottage stay. Beautiful views around the property. Great beach just up the road. Lots of room in and out for the kid and the dog. Easy access. Pleasant neighbours. Will return.

Stayed here over the Easter weekend at "off season" rates. Lovely place with nice views in back. Privacy is assured too. Many amenities of home including satellite tv and gas line BBQ. Consider this location if you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle. You have to drive to get to things, which is not a complaint, just a warning. If you plan your stay adequately, you will not need to leave until its time to come home! One caution - remember the lock box combination as once you lock the cottage from the inside, you need it to put the key back. ***Highly recommended***

The cottage was cozy, clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was enough electonic and kitchen gadgetry to keep the teenagers, grandparents and 'foodie' adults entertained when not enjoying the outdoors. We saw a stunning sunset and enjoyed the little beach. As parents we also felt that our teens and 10 year old were safe on the water with the canoe/ kayak supplied and water at our doorstep. The cottage offered privacy and the yard was level and well laid out. We were using the cottage as a home base to do day trips from so the fact that it was not on a scenic waterfront did not deter. There is a lot to see in the immediate area especially if you like hiking and swimming.

The cottage was perfect. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon. The cottage was everything we had hoped for and so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and kayaking in the lake. The cottage was clean from top to bottom. The view was nothing short of amazing. We got to eat on the dock and watch the sun set every night. Thank you so much to the owners; we will be returning!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It's charming inside, very comfortable with lots of windows, has a TON of outdoor space (decking almost all around the house, plus a dock where you can sit and watch the lake). It does have a neighbour on one side, but it's generally very quiet and secluded. There is a great sandy beach a very short walk away, which is wonderful for swimming. The roads around the cottage location are quiet and very good for walking, plus it's a reasonable drive away from Tobermory, access to the Bruce Trail and Singing Sands. Lots of wildlife! Definitely recommended. We will stay there again.

Although the home is beautiful, I feel it is misleading. I do not feel this is water front property. It was VERY costly for what it is. I would never rent this cottage again. I was very disappointed as well as the rest of my family. I felt we should have been given a partial refund!
We are sorry the cottage was not to your liking. Regarding your concerns, the web page for the cottage clearly states that the shoreline in front of the cottage is very shallow, rocky and not suitable for swimming. There is a really nice little sand beach only 200 metres away.
