My husband, sister, two nieces, and I, stayed at this cottage the last week of summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is HUGE! The outdoor kitchen is fun. The private beach area and waterfront were great. Water shoes are necessary, but the water is crystal clear. The sunsets off the back deck were absolutely spectacular. There is a great fire pit with a view of the lake, were we had some nice bonfires under millions of stars. The cottage is tastefully decorated, clean, and well maintained. Our only complaint was the smelly cottage water - bottled water is a must. Otherwise, we loved our vacation. Hope we can stay there again one day!

The cottage was very clean and spacious. The location was great, you could stay and relax on the private beach, or go exploring in some of the near by towns( ie. Lion's Head and Tobermory. Great spot for people with little ones, lots of time was spend looking for shells, and playing in the sand. The views from the cottage were excellent to watch the sun set over Lake Huron.

Cottage was great. Had my two young grandsons there for some of the time, and they loved it. I liked this place because there was a feeling of isolation. Neighbours were next door, but separated by trees. Lake Huron is a lonely type lake. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from hussle and bussle of city living.

The cottage was clean and nicely furnished, bordering on luxury considering it had a dishwasher, satellite tv, and washing machine. While these items are not required, they were nice to have when you are bringing children to a cottage.
The beach front was private and the rock inlet was great for the kids. We especially liked the outside festive bar area and firepit.....and the sunsets were not bad either!
I would definitely stay at this cottage again.

This was our first year at this vacation property. Private, quiet and beautiful. We watched the most gorgeous sunsets every night. The home was clean and spacious. The lot was large and it was a one minute stroll to the lake front.
Our children ages 5, 6, and 14 found lots to keep them occupied, from swimming, shell and drift wood collecting, painting rocks, swimming, catching frogs/snakes and playing the many games avaialble at the home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The building was spacious, very clean & very modern, with all the luxuries of home. The view of the lake & the sunsets was wonderful. The beach was pretty rocky & not as nice as some but the description on the website was accurate so we were not surprised or disappointed.
I really enjoyed our stay there & would recommend it to others. It was a great experience.

The location is great - close to Tobermory, the beach, Lion's Head, a
general store, etc. The cottage itself is clean and spacious and offers
plenty of home comforts (large TV, microwave, BBQ, etc.). It had
everything we needed. The cleanliness really impressed us. Great for a
family. Close to a small beach, but not so close that you have to worry
about your small kids. The only drawback was the distance of the fire
pit from the cottage, which is only a problem if you have a small child
sleeping in the cottage while you're having a fire, like we did. We
would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Very nice deck facing the water as well as a large covered porch off the kitchen with a porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee. This was a great feature, but there were containers of cigarette buts on and around the porch. Great swimming for adults and older kids, but not young-kid (toddler) friendly. There was a small sandy beach area, but not a lot of space for young children to run around. The cottage is very spacious and clean aside from the kitchen. We found the kitchen cabinets very cluttered and overcrowded which made working in the kitchen a bit difficult. We also found some dirty dishes in the cupboards. For the most part we enjoyed our stay and had a great time, but would not return for the above reasons. This is a good cottage for families with older kids or a group of adults.
