Charming and comfortable apartment, ideal for two, strategically located in the heart of Alfama historic neighbourhood. It has one bedroom with a double bed, a bright living room, a kitchen fully equipped and a bathroom (with shower).
Here you can experience the typical and picturesque atmosphere that still remains nowadays.
Let yourself wonder through the steep cobbled streets, alleys and stairways, with the façades strung with washing. In daytime it will bring you back to its Arab origin. At night it will hypnotize you with the guitar notes and the voices singing “fado”.
On foot, by metro or in the famous and delightful tram 28, the apartment is an excellent departure point to visit the most popular spots in Lisbon, such as Castle, Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto, or to enjoy the astonishing views over river Tagus.
Nearby you can find taverns, typical restaurants and Fado houses. You will also find small grocery shops and all sorts of traditional establishments revealing an ancient Lisbon (and a very good bakery right in front of the apartment).
Coexisting with tradition, you can also find near the river a modern and fashionable area which houses restaurants, bars and trendy shops.
In an ancient building, recently renovated, the apartment, sweetly styled with a mixture of pastel colors and rustic décor accents, has a romantic atmosphere of charm and comfort, ideal for a couple!
With 30 sqm the apartment includes:
- A living room with a sofa bed ,satellite TV/DVD and dining table by the window
- A bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), separated from the living room with a curtain
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower
- A complete kitchen with gas stove and oven, fridge, microwave, fridge with freezer, washing/drying machine and dishwasher
In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric heaters and there is a fan for cooling in summer.

Car restricted area. The apartment is in the historic city center in a street restricted to cars. Cars can go up to the Fado museum at 180 mts from the apartment. From there to the apartment you have to go walking with your luggage.
Less than 5 min from all kind of transports!

This apartment is lovely. Well located, with the added charm of being able to sit with your window open and listen to Fado in the evening. From here you are close to metro, groceries, cafe, restaurants and all of the Alfama.
The apartment is small, but well laid out. After a couple of days you will be adopted by the neighbours and well looked after.

We had a lovely stay in the cosy apartment in the heart of alfama. When opening the windows in the evenings we could enjoy the fado coming from the house opposite. In the neighbourhood plenty of nice little bars and restaurants. Being in the centre of Lisbon it is easy to walk everywhere and for places further afield the railway station is within easy reach.
The apartment is very small, but has all the necessary comfort, a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is a bit too small though. We kept banging our head and toes everywhere. That was the only downside. I would recommend it to everyone who likes diving into the real authentic city life of Lisbon.
Very warm welcome and plenty of help from the friendly Felipe.

It's a good place to stay if you want to feel the true spirit of alfama, the bohemian center of Lisboa. It is a very small apartment, for max 2 people, but it has all the appliances you can think of. The owners are truly customer-oriented.

A charming little apartment in the heart of the alfama district. Easy access to public transport and surrounded by restaurants. The apartment is small but has everything you need and is very well appointed, the wifi was a nice touch. Our host was very kind and very welcoming, the service was great. A fantastic weekend!

If you like to walk and feel like a local, this is the apartment for you. Surrounded by the most important focal points of historic Lisbon you will not need to take a bus to get to downtown and most attractions. The transportation is easily accessible in the form of the Metro, trolleys and buses. Taxis are constantly cruising in the area also. The Fado restaurants are close by and you can take an evening stroll to go there. The apartment itself, although small, is equipped with internet, cable tv, and all the appliances.
The service received is excellent. We didn't have a phone so we communicated with Fatima via email and she immediately solved our difficulties, to the extent that they did our laundry because the washing machine had a problem with the door mechanism.
I highly recommend this apartment to couples who like to explore the city.

This is a very nice but also small department in the heart of alfama, just near the most exciting Fado's places. You can feel an inhabitant of this popular Lisbon' neighbourhood. The department is well equipped but also extremely small (in the picture it seems larger), just for a couple (forget to go there with children). Ouners are serious and they try to help you in your visit to the city.

The owners welcomed us at the airport, and were kind and helpful. The flat itself is lovely, clean and charming, in a super location. There was a great little bakery opposite, and the streets were nice and quiet. Close enough to walk around central Lisbon, and to most of the train stations to get to surrounding sites. The flat is small, so my sister and I shared the double bed, rather than use the sleeping sofa as well. I wouldn't advice sharing the flat with anyone you're not comfortable sharing a bed with, as it would make the place feel cramped. Overall, a super experience - lovely people, flat and city!

Eduardo & Fatima are very professionnal, they welcome us in a very good way. The room was confortable & clean. The area is very tipical & in the heart of the alfama. Everything was well prepared, the welcoming, the check in...
They help us to have a very good trip in Lisboa.
go! go! go!
We spent a long week end in Lisbon, and selected this very charming apartment in the alfama. We really loved this place, along with the kindness of Eduardo! Besides, just accross the street, you can find a delicious bakery: each morning, we went here for a home made orange juice and various pastries, all very good!
We recommend strongly this appart, to feel the Lisbon particular touch!

We stayed in this lovely appartment in the heart of alfama. The appartment is very well equiped!
When we arrived Fatima showed us around and gave us a delicious botlle of white wine.
We enjoyed our stay very much altough we think the appartment coul have been a bit bigger for three persons
