Coconut Hideaway: Gulf-Front Dream House!

COCONUT HIDEAWAY is one of the most charming and unique homes on the island. This is our private home -- not a 'rental unit' -- and we have decorated it with antiques, oriental carpets, original artwork and many collections from our travels abroad.

This home rents for $2200 per week plus tax of 12% and a $300 security deposit. Please note that FlipKey also adds their own booking fee.

Our Caribbean-inspired home is built in the 'Old Florida' style and boasts soaring high ceilings, gleaming hardwood floors, warm cedar siding, Tiffany-style lamps, a dramatic open staircase and unobstructed views of the beach from every room. We offer two screened ...Read more

Additional Location Information

Little Gasparilla Island is one of the undiscovered charms of SW Florida. Nestled just off the coast of Englewood, Little Gasparilla island is situated just north of Boca Grande and south of Manasota Key. Unlike those islands, however, it has no bridge. Access is only via private boat or the island water taxi. This inaccessability means that the island is seldom crowded, there is no traffic and there are few tourists. You can meander the sandy pathways up and down the island, fish off the dock or the beach, watch osprey soar over the beach or observe gopher tortoises as they wander the island eating cactus blooms and hibiscus flowers. It is a very laid-back and relaxing holiday away from the stresses of traffic, tourists and the theme-park mayhem you encounter elsewhere in Florida!

Our beaches are pristine, with no seawalls. There are no riptides or drop-offs and our beach is safe for even tiny swimmers. There are no lifeguards, however, so your children will need supervision on the beach.
