Beautiful Cottage with lovely hosts

Left on Nov 18, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Rented this cottage with my children and my Mum. We had a fabulous week. The weather was reasonably kind and we were able to get out every day. But to come back to this lovely property was the real treat of the holiday. Beautifully decorated, fantastic facilities with a log burner to keep us cosy. An excellent pub as well right on our doorstep for tea every evening with a landlady who …

Home from home property

Left on Dec 05, 2009 for a stay in May 2008

I could quite happily have moved into this cottage and never moved out again! Lovely cottagey feel, lounge was really comfy and the new modern kitchen provided everything we needed. Bathroom was new and well designed. Bedrooms were cosy and homely.

The garden was a suntrap, but we had to keep a watch over the dog due to the quite high drop at the grass edge. Would probably not be safe for …

Great Venue - in derbyshire NOT norflok

Left on Apr 27, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We came here to enjoy a ten year sixth form reunion with some of our group having young babies. The venue was great, with a large communal area which was perfect for our requirements. the 'snug' helped to create a smaller communal area where people could watch a DVD or have a little quiet time away from general baby chatter etc. Excellent venue for board games, general wanderings and reminiscing.

Great cottage in great location

Left on Mar 03, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

Spent a lovely week at this cottage in Tideswell. Plenty of room for our 2 families. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water. Easy walking to shops and restaurants and handy location for exploring The Peaks. Good menu at The George Hotel, Tideswell so no need to cook! Just walk down the road. Children enjoyed farm and adventure playground at Chatsworth and a day out at the Heights of Abraham. Even did …

Very nice cottage, good location

Left on Dec 02, 2011 for a stay in October 2011

We had a very good week in this cottage. It is well furnished and comfortable, with all the equipment needed for a pleasant stay. There is good heating for a winter holiday. I would say that it would be a little cramped for the maximum of seven but there is a limit of four adults, which is sensible, as two of the bedrooms are very small. It is very well located in a large village, with plenty …

An excellent week

Left on Dec 02, 2009 for a stay in June 2009

The property interior was new, clean and smart. It is a recent barn conversion and has been well done. The owner lives in the farmhouse just over the driveway and we were met and shown round and made welcome. The fact that the cottage is in the middle of a working farm was fine as it was all accommodation around and it is a sheep farm and you look out across the garden, field and fells.
