Description
A pretty, newly refurbished Cottage in rural location, overlooking beautiful countryside of rolling fields, woods and hills., 5 miles from the historic Market Town of Abergavenny, close to numerous nationally known Restaurants and within easy distance of the Brecon Beacons, Hay on Wye, Hereford Cardiff. We are close to a number of golf courses and within a short walk of Offa's Dyke path the 'Three Castles' walk and with easy access into the Black Mountains. The Cottage comprises a bedroom with comfortable king size bed, a bathroom with large shower and bath and a living room/kitcen with woodstove. The rooms open onto a private lawn and terrace with bar.b.que.

“Beautiful surroundings”
We stayed five days in this lovely cottage set in the grounds of the owner's house. The cottage was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It is set well away from any main roads and was therefore quiet and peaceful, and yet within easy driving distance of local interest points. The owner Julian was really helpful and full of information about the area including the local walks. It's not often we would consider returning to the same place but we would definitely come back here..... hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder next time!

“beautiful place to stay”
We booked this on the weekend that storm Dennis hit south Wales so didn't get to enjoy the beautiful country side walks that we might have done but that didn't matter because the accommodation was lovely enough to stay indoors and watch the rain from a cosy sofa by the fire. The owner was more than welcoming and even offered to pick us up from the pub if we'd decided to walk! We really loved the little cottage and everything was perfect, the roll top bath, kitchen and bedroom not to mention the amazing wood burning stove. The place itself would be perfect for the summer months as it has big glass doors to roll back and connect the inside with the outside with it's charming little clock garden completely private. We would love to return.
