The Shepherds Cottage - Ruddyglow Park

Our lovely traditional, stone built, cottage dates back to the early 1800s and is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your family or a group of friends. Set in its own garden with spectacular views of Loch Assynt to the front and Quinag to the rear.

Gaze out over the clear blue waters of Loch Assynt and the magnificent heather covered mountains and you might well see a Red Deer, a Badger or a Pine Martin and, if you venture down to the shore, you may even see the odd otter. Additional Location Information

Assynt is one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland and maybe even the world. It's virtually unspoilt and hasn't changed very much in the last 100 years. It really is the nature at it's best. Loch Assynt is a 2 minute walk but for spectacular white sandy beaches then it's only a short drive to Achmelvich, Clachtol or many others that are dotted all along the coast. Handa Island is a lovely place to spend the day. Take a picnic and watch the puffins or if you don't want to walk then take one of the ribs round the island. Very exhilarating. Rather than tell you more why not come and experience it for your self. Come for the adventure, the clear, clean air and take away the memories of a lifetime.

* Fax, business centre and satellite internet is available at Ruddyglow Park.
