It is recommended that at least four hours be booked to increase the likelihood of good deer shots. The estate offers some of the very finest trout fishing in Britain. All fishing on the estate is managed by a unique partnership of landowners and local anglers which forms one of the biggest single areas of brown trout fishing to be accessible with one single permit in the whole of Britain and perhaps Europe.Permits can be purchased through the Foundation or a number of other local retailers. A single ticket allows fishing on around two hundred lochs and lochans. Brown trout permits cost from £5 per person per day or £25 per week. Boats are available on many lochs for £10 (up to three people per boat), and £8-10 for hire of an engine. Package deals can be arranged for fishing groups of up to 20 or more people with permits and boats are included in the overall price. Fly rod and reel hire are also available.
