Four Seasons

Our home has a large, partially wooded yard, with over 100 feet of lake frontage, a grassy front lawn, and a private dock. Relax in the hammock beneath the trees, play croquet on the lawn, read while sitting on the screened-in porch, or wind down in the hot tub. Play pool or have a game of darts in the game room. The house is warm and inviting, with natural wood walls throughout. Additional Location Information

There is so much to do at our home in Lake of the Woods! Ride a bike on one of the many paved trails at the lake. Swim, float or sun on the lake. Fish off the dock (fishing poles provided). Go golfing on the lake's private 18 hole, par 71 PGA course, or go out the back gate to Meadows Farm Golf Course, home of the Nation's longest hole. For a complete listing and description of the lakes' amenities, go to LOWA.org.
History buffs will enjoy the various civil war battlefields, including Chancellorsville, Wilderness (which adjoins Lake of the Woods), Spotsylvania Court House, and Fredericksburg. Ellwood Manor, where Stonewall Jackson's arm is buried, is nearby. Rent canoes or kayaks in Fredericksburg, and take a scenic trip down the Rappahannock River. Bald eagles are almost away spotted! Go take a hike on nearby Skyline Drive, in Shenandoah National Park, or spend the day at Kings Dominion (just north of Richmond) riding roller coasters. Have a craving for fresh soft shell crabs or oysters? Go south about an hour to Virginia's Northern Neck. Or visit Richmond or Washington, DC, both of which are just over an hour away.
