Description
The apartment is located on the Salzburger and Tyrolian border in the Saalach Valley. In the surrounding area you will find open meadows within the wide valley bottom; dense forests on the mountain sides, with their natural springs and brooks.
Nature has created raging waterfalls and many bizarre rock formations - as well as a large system of caves all situated within easy walking distance.
For the summer guests there is a garden and barbecue to enjoy the long sunny evenings. The apartment has access to a private balcony with picturesque views.

The apartment has 2 large double bedrooms one of which can be used as a living room containing a double bed and sofa bed. Also 1 single bed room.
The bathroom is large with both a shower and bath. The kitchen dinner contains everything you will need including a dish washer and microwave.
The television can receive both German and UK TV with access to a DVD player. Our winter guests are able to store skies and boots in our cellar.

“Wonderful location”
We would highly recommend Haus Lena to anyone wishing to visit this region. Haus Lena is nicely presented in a sunny position with all facilities. It is ideally situated for country walks, biking, and for the more adventurous alpine walking. Located in a quiet village with good restaurant nearby - 'Gasthof zur Post', only 20 minutes walk to Lofer and ski lift (which operates in the summer months) and 50 minutes by car to either Berchtesgaden or Salzburg. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, who readily provided ideas on places to visit and local information. We very much hope to make a return visit in the near future. Family Hill (UK)

“Lovely, welcoming, spacious & very comfortable appartment above family home.”
We were so lucky to find Haus Lena! What a welcome! Owners Ian & Corinna made us feel like very special members of their own lovely family and village community. Self contained roomy appartment on the upper floor of a big chalet style home, comfortably furnished in traditional decor. Spotlessly clean when we arrived! Wonderfully comfy beds in nice big rooms! All set in a beautiful Alpine paradise! Huge variety of lovely restaurants & cafes in Sankt Martin & nearby Lofer - food wonderful - ice-cream to die for! Good choice of supermarkets, local bakery & cafe. We visited the area to attend a kayaking event on the Saalach river. If your family love nature or outdoor activities or you just want to get away to somewhere special - this is it!
