Bloomsbury History

Developed by the Russell family in the 17th and 18th centuries into a fashionable residential area, Bloomsbury is an area of central London south of the London Borough of Camden. Holborn History

Named after the Hole-bourne (the stream in the hollow) which flowed through the area from north to south, to the Thames, Holborn is an area of Central London, England.
