We offer a top location in trendy Fitzrrovia, in the heart of the West End, a super central spot with a villagey feel and Georgian architecture. The area was once home to such writers as Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud. Today it is a popular and lively neighbourhood with a residential and business mix. The numerous media companies based in the area feed into a trendy and vibrant buzz.
There is a good range of shops and a huge choice of delicious restaurants and bars. Tourist London is easily accessible on foot or by tube. Several supermarkets are close by (including a good Sainsburys, Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall and Waitrose isn’t far).
The flat is on an upper level (with lift) and is set out over one floor. It benefits from good natural light. The property is set at the rear of the building (so quiet for sleeping) and overlooks the local landmark, the impressive BT Tower.
The light and bright bedroom (4.1m x 2.9m) has a neutral decor. There is a comfortable double bed, double fitted mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. There are full-length white curtains and separate blackout blinds.
The living room (3.9m x 2.9m) has large double glazed windows. The room is painted white and has woodstrip flooring. There is a large comfortable sofa that opens to a large double sofabed, flatscreen TV/DVD with freeview, a selection of DVDs and a dining table and chairs.
The living room and kitchen are open plan. The kitchen (2.4m x 2.6m) has plenty of cupboard space and a full range of integrated appliances including microwave, electric oven, hob, coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The separate fridge and freezer both have good storage space. Kitchen utensils are provided. There is an iron and an ironing board.
The bathroom has a full-sized bath with power shower unit, handbasin, bathroom cabinet, heated towel rail and WC. The floor is tiled and the walls are partially tiled / partially painted.
This is great opportunity to enjoy a smart, attractive property in an wonderful and safe area. The apartment is in a secure, recently renovated, quiet block with 43 flats in Fitzrovia, W1, bordering Fitzroy Square.
All Central London attractions can be reached easily by foot or by public transport. The British Museum, British Library, Soho, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Regent’s Park etc are a walk away. Warren Street, Euston Square, Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road tubes are close by. The City is a 20 minute door-to-door tube journey.

This apartment is very well located, and met all our needs for getting to the places that we had listed before leaving home. Warren Street tube is a short walk away, and we used this station almost daily for connecting with other services.We purchased an Oyster card on arrival, which made using the tube very efficient.It is also not too far from StPancras Station for connecting with the Eurostar.
We were met on arrival at the apartment by Jack,( albeit 3 hours later than we had planned, due to a train delay.) almost the minute we arrived, which was most pleasing, as we were exhausted after a messy train trip from the Northern part of England.
Liz had provided us with an excellent amount of information about things to do in London, maps etc before we left home and this was a great help and most appreciated.The apartment itself was roomy and warm. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable to sit on to watch TV, but only a minor irritant. I would also recommend that a non slip rubber bath mat would be a useful addition as the bath was quite slippery. (We purchased one at Boots Pharmacy on Tottenham Road for about 5 pounds) As we stayed for 2 weeks it would have been good to have had the apartment serviced after one week, although we were only there to sleep so it certainly didn't get too grubby. Clean linen was provided after one week. We used the taxi service recommended by Liz in the information book to take us to St Pancras on depature, and this was an excellent service. I received a text from the company to let me know that the taxi was on its way, so that was very helpful and reassuring.Over all a great place to stay and thanks to Liz for keeping in touch with information before we arrived etc and to Jack for being at the apartment the minute we arrived.

First and foremost-this appartment exists (ie. not a scam) and is exactly as advertised. The building seemed safe, and the apartment is on the 6th floor (elevator in the building).
Correspondence with owner Liz was very easy, and she replied usually within hours. It was also flexible to agree the "check-in and check-out" times.
The location of the appartment is convenient-many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, as well as busstops and metrostations are within a few minutes' walk. The apartment is very quiet having the windows facing to the courtyard-no noise from the traffic nor from the neighbours.
The apartment itself is quite nice-the layout, having 2 separate rooms, was perfect for our purposes. The apartment is also well equiped (including a dishwasher!)-the only thing I would have wished more was towels and some dishes-but that's purely a matter of opinion.
Only actual even slightly negative thing we came across, was the cigarrette smoke coming from a neighbour. Luckily the smell didn't reach livingroom nor bedroom as we kept the doors closed. But this is hardly the owner's fault!
All in all, I would highly recommend this apartment!

Asunnon sijainti on kätevä - ei ihan ydinkeskustassa, mutta muutaman minuutin bussimatkan päässä keskeisimmiltä nähtävyyksiltä ja ostoskaduilta. Bussipysäkkejä ja metroasemia n. 3 - 7 korttelin säteellä. Lähistöllä Paljon ravintoloita ja useampi ruokakauppakin.
Asunto on todella rauhallinen ja turvalllinen, sijaisee hissitalon 6. krs. Englantilaiseen tapaan ikkunat falskaavat, mutta asiaa pyritty korjaamaan sähköpattereilla. Asunnossa hyvinvarusteltu keittiö (mm. tiskari ja pyykkikone), ja kylpyhuoneessa bonuksena amme. Vedenpaine riittävä pitkienkin hiusten pesuun :). Suosittelen!

My daughter and I spent several days in this flat and it was an ideal property for us in London. It is stylish with modern amenities--kitchen, living room and bedroom. The flat is spacious and in a perfect location: just a short walk to pubs, restaurants, banks (for cash from atm's) and shopping. Probably what we liked best is that it is in a quiet location, so we never had any issues with noise and the building is secure and only residents can gain entry. I can't think of any downsides.

Lizard Properties made the rental process painless and went the extra mile to make it possible to enjoy our stay in London. Always responsive and anticipated our needs from beginning to end. The flat is centrally located to all of London within four blocks of two tube stations yet was quiet. All amenities are present and the flat was very clean and comfortable. Without hesitation will stay again on any return to London.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment over Christmas 2011. The property was clean, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The apartment is in an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Tottenham Court Road, from where we were easily able to walk along Oxford Street and Regent Street to see the Christmas lights! Despite it's very central location the property is also very quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day pounding the streets of Central London!
We had a truly wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay, we didn't want to come home!
I would happily recommend this property to anyone and everyone.
