This beautifully presented 1 bed apartment between King's Cross and Islington is centrally located for a great stay in London.
The living room is open-plan and extends through to a dining area and the kitchen. It has an extra-large L-shaped sofa bed, coffee table, bookcase and leather bean bag. This is comfortable room, decorated in neutral tones with flashes of colour from the artwork, rug and cushions. There's a big flat-screen tv (with Sky + HD), DVD player (and DVDs). A floor to ceiling window ensures lots of light. The living room opens into the dining area with a glass table seating 6. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, espresso coffee machine, blender and even a popcorn machine!
The bedroom is simply decorated with a double bed, bed-side tables, chest of drawers and lots of wardrobe space (with a handy full-length mirror on the doors of the wardrobe).
The bathroom is tiled in white and has a bath (with wall-mounted shower), WC, basin, mirror and heated towel rail.
An additional bonus is a private resident's garden to the back of the apartments.
The apartment's location can't be beaten! A 10 minute walk (or a few minutes on the bus) will take you to King's Cross station with great links to most of London's Underground network, Network rail connections to other parts of the UK as well as the Eurostar. Angel tube (with further connections on the Northern line) is just a 7 minute walk. You can reach all the tourist attractions in areas like Soho, Piccadilly, Westminster and Waterloo in around 20 - 30 minutes. King's Cross also has direct link to the Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports. Caledonian Road & Barnsbury on the London Overground is just a 7 minute walk and will take you directly to West Hampstead, Richmond, Kew, Shepherds Bush (Westfield Shopping Centre), Clapham Junction and, for those thinking about the Olympics, straight to the Olympic Village in Stratford in less than 15 minutes.
You're also just a 10 minute walk (or, again, a few minutes on the bus) to the hub of Islington - Upper Street. This popular area has a great variety of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, boutiques, furnitures stores and a couple of cinemas. The markets of Chapel Street (for food and clothing) and Camden Passage (for specialty clothing and antiques) are also interesting.
