3 bed with garden, minutes from Columbia Road, Shoreditch
Description from the manager
This comfortable 3 bed house is in a great Central/East London location, minutes from Columbia Road's galleries, cafes and restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk to Brick Lane.
The ground floor has a spacious open-plan layout. The kitchen area has modern fitted wooden cupboards with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and plenty of preparation space.
Leading off the kitchen is a dining area with a table and seating for 6, a large collection of books and a hifi stereo system with free standing speakers. From here a glass door leads out onto the paved garden. There's a trellis enclosing this private space and a built-in wooden seating area as well as a barbeque. It's perfect for al fresco drinks and dining!
Inside, the dining room leads into the main living space, with 4 unusual black leather armchairs and coloured cushions. This room has a cosy feel to it, with wooden shutters on the windows, more books on a built-in white bookcase and wooden floors. There is also a large DVD and CD collection and TV (with Sky and HD).
Upstairs the master bedroom has a shabby chic style with a cream chest of drawers, a huge dark wood wardrobe and a similar dark wood chest of drawers. Two dark wood chairs and another small bookcase make a homely atmosphere. City views to the front are a bonus.
The second double bedroom has an airy feel, with a plain white duvet cover, beige curtains and wooden bedside drawer units. The third bedroom has a single trundle bed, with another pull-out single bed below, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and view to the garden below.
The bathroom has stylish black and white tiling and the bath (with a wall-mounted shower) basin and WC are all modern and white.
The delights of the area - from the curry houses, markets and nightlife on Brick Lane to Hoxton's galleries, boutiques and bars - are all within walking distance. Columbia Road, just a few minutes' walk, hosts a flower market every weekend. Spitalfields Market and Petticoat Lane are nearby and are popular destinations in this artistic area of central London. Bethnal Green Underground station is just over a 10 minute walk with handy connections on the Central line - just 1 stop from Liverpool Street station and you'll reach Oxford Circus within 20 minutes. For the Olympic Village, you're just 2 stops, or about 5 minutes, away. The Hoxton Overground station is just over a 5 minute walk with connections to Hampstead (to the West) and Canary Wharf (to the South). There are a variety of buses to whizz you down to London Bridge or the City of London too.
