Enter this unique property and on the ground floor youll find the master bedroom, with a double bed, two chests of drawers, wooden floors, mirror-fronted cupboards as well as an antique wardrobe and lots of interesting artwork on the walls. Theres even a green velvet chair, a hat stand and a print tray on the wall with a collection of ornaments! Theres a bathroom on this floor with black and white tiling, a modern glass shower unit, a loo, a sink and a heated towel rail.
Through to the back of the house is the elegant kitchen with cream fitted cupboards and a wooden kitchen table and chairs. This room is very airy with white walls, velux windows and French windows which lead out onto a pretty patio area. It is well-equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine, and there are many more paintings adorning the walls. You also have the lawn at the front of the house for more outdoor space.
Head up the stairs and you will enter the grand living and studio space. One side of this vast and eccentric room is the owners studio with parquet flooring, a huge chandelier hanging from the double height ceiling, sash windows and lots of amazing paintings on easels. On the other side of this room is the living room with a collection of antique furniture, including a dining table and chairs, a grand piano, a sofa, a couple of chairs and a chaise longue. At the other end of this road is South Kensington with the Victoria & Albert, the Natural History and the Science Museums (a 15 minute walk from the house).
If you want to explore the upmarket area of Chelsea, the famous Kings Road is only a 7 or 8 minute taxi ride away and is renowned for its trendy bars and luxury shops. Knightsbridge, just a few minutes away too, is home to famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
For transport, you are only a 6 minute walk from Earls Court tube station which joins the Piccadilly and District lines. From here youre only two stops from South Kensington or you can be at Oxford Circus for a fantastic selection of shops in 18 minutes. It is also an 18 minute trip from Earls Court tube to the impressive Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush. Head North for a different kind of shopping experience at the Portobello Road market in Notting Hill.
